When Finnegan attempted to shoot Charlie Cooper, his gun jammed, so he had to beat him to death with the gold bar. Why then, did he run when Cam Vandemann grabbed the gun and aimed it at him? He knew it had jammed. The gun was still jammed when the CSI's were inspecting it.
