The team finds three young women, all of who appear to have been brutalized in the same way. The only witness they have is the surviving young woman, who can communicate only through blinking. Photographs found at one of the crime scenes lead the team to a couple that had sponsored one of the victims, and the boyfriend who claims he hasn't spoken to her in weeks.

The title song for CSI: New York -- Baba O'Riley
The song "Baba O'Riley" by The Who, is also often called "Teenage Wasteland" as a result of that occurring as a repeated chorus line. In fact, "Teenage Wasteland" was a working title for the song. A remixed version of the song is used as the intro music to CSI:New York, rather slavishly following the tradition of using "Who" songs for CSI (the first two, Who Are You, and Won't Get Fooled Again quite clearly fit well with the notion of what CSIs do, but the song Baba O'Riley has no lyrical connection with the CSI concept, and was chosen as one of the most successful and well-known remaining Who songs.
Arguably, "Can't Explain", by its titular-lyrical hook, would seem to have been a more appropriate choice. |
