Emmanuelle Vaugier ain't a CSI. She's a cop, albeit(?) a part-time one, but a cop nonetheless.
So it can't be her, right.

Dammit

Did feel a bit weird with all the great things the team was saying about her since she hasn't been in many eps and iirc there hasn't been a great deal of interactions between her and the csis even when she was in an ep.

Goes off to IMDB to see if she's gonna be back on the screen any time soon.

It's been a slaughterfest of characters in several series now. Not gonna mention any, in case you're following them, though.
