Hank Moody is a thirtysomething sex addicted author. During his many affairs with women of all ages and walks of life, Moody has to keep contact with his ex-wife Karen, who may still be in love with him, and their 12-year old daughter, Madeline. Though mature for her age, Madeline starts to have a sex life, which scares both her parents, especially her father despite his addiction.
