Karen looks at her laptop, where a headline indicates Hank was found guilty in Mia's case. Becky takes one look at her mom's face and says "Guilty?" Yes. Karen wants to comfort her, but Becky slams out the door.
Stu tells Charlie that the scripts suck. Charlie just keeps smiling, right up until he gets the news that Hank was found guilty. Charlie bursts into tears and lands in Stu's arms. Marcy's at the ob-gyn when she gets the news. Hank and Abby get into her car. Hank doesn't know what they should do now, so Abby heads for the nearest bar.
Before doing so, Hank stops at a church to have words with God. A nun from his past approaches. She recommends he steal a car and hit the road, leaving everybody behind.
Hank wakes up, of course the nun bit was a dream. He's in bed with Abby, who has restraints around her wrists. He's very happy to have gotten some great hetero sex before he goes to spend some time in the big house. Abby tries to reassure him that they have no idea what his sentence is going to be. He's going to head out, as Karen and Becca might be worried about him. Maybe. She advises him not to do anything stupid.
He arrives at Charlie's, Peggy answers the door. She's turned on by the word rape. Charlie gives him a big hug. Peggy asks Charlie something inaudible that would be inappropriate. She wants to play home invasion. Charlie fills Hank in. Hank says he might have to go to prison, and Charlie cries again. Only he has good news for Hank. He gives him his hundy-large Hank's been waiting on, minus Charlie's 10%. Charlie advises him not to spend it all in one place. Hank nods and goes to replace the car that Becca destroyed.
He arrives at school and takes the cigarette out of Becca's mouth. They hug. On the beach, Becca promises to visit him every day. If he goes to jail, she'll probably be in college by the time he gets out. He hoped they could sit on the beach and not think about reality for awhile. She tells him to take her home. He's too self-centered, she can't stand it. She hopes she'll wake up every morning and find out he's been a total bore. She just wants him to be like everyone else.
In the bar, Hank runs into Trixie. They hug. He gives her money so she'll come to his room when she's done with her current client. When she gets there, he gives her a back rub. She asks if he ever thought about running. She does. Someday she'll take her whoring money and head out.
Trixie thinks he should run. She's been to jail. Never again. Hank isn't guilty; not really. Not of rape. She really wants him to run with her. He doesn't want to have sex. He just wants her to be nice to him for a little while. Hank dreams that he's the man Becca wants him to be (in black and white). When he wakes up, he finds that Trixie is gone, and his money is still there.
Hank hits the road. His phone rings, and it's Marcy. He heads home again. It's a surprise party. It was supposed to be a "Hank is innocent" party, but they had to work with what he gave them. Becca remembers when Hank and Karen were good together.
She doesn't want to go to sleep, because she's not sure Hank will be there when she wakes up. After she goes to bed, the grown-ups share some weed. Karen and Hank talk about if Becca is right. Everybody takes shots at everybody else for what they're doing with their lives.
They were having a great time until Marcy announces she's going to miss Hank. He says no more tears. He did the crime, he can do the time.
Hank and Karen share a slow dance. Ever since she heard about Mia, she's been sleepwalking through her life. She can't do that anymore. Hank understands. He'll go. She doesn't want him to. She wants him to give her something to look forward to. She wants them to make love for the absolutely last time.
