The scene opens with Hank waiting on their doorstep wearing sad clown makeup and a balloon tied around his wrist. From the looks of it, it doesn’t appear to be the best plan to make his ladies forget that he may be responsible for Tyler’s beating at the hands of his buddy Sam, something that created a huge rift at the end of last episode. Also in the doghouse for his recent Mangina performance, Bates joins Hank on the stoop and the two share a smoke, wallowing. Karen emerges and invites her husband in, leaving the weird clowned-out Hank alone on the steps, all on his own. Moments later, he gets a call from Sam, who demands Hank come meet him at his recording studio to discuss Kali. Seems ominous; with Hank visibly worried on receiving the call. ..
