Prickly Pining Dining / Camp Kidney Stinks - Recap

Prickly Pining Dining: Chef McMueseli is walks outside of the Mess Hall to Lumpus's cabin. He looks very ill. Meanwhile, in Lumpus's cabin, Slinkman gives Lumpus his coat and Slinkman opens the door, and they see Chef McMueseli. Lumpus gets excited and Chef McMueseli falls down. Lumpus asks questions about Chef McMueseli to Slinkman and he wonders what he is doing here. Slinkman responds saying that he is sick. Now that he is sick, he won't be able to cook. To solve this problem, the Bean Scouts go to a restaurant entitled Beef Lumberjacks in Prickly Pines to eat.
On the bus, the Bean Scouts are being noisy and Lumpus tries to get them to be quiet, but Slinkman hits a pothole, making Lumpus almost fall down. The Bean Scouts laugh at him and Slinkman apologizes for hitting a pothole. Then, Lumpus reminds the Bean Scouts about why they have to go to Prickly Pines to eat and they get so happy, that they throw things. Also, he expects them to behave since the explosion in Prickly Pines and the Bean Scout code means most on the road.

The Bean Scouts rush out of the bus's door and step on Lumpus. The Jelly Beans walk together and they carry Lumpus into Beef Lumberjacks. He wonders what they are up to. A turkey asks how many and Lumpus makes a joke. The turkey asks him and the Bean Scouts to follow him.

At the dinner table, Lumpus asks Slinkman what he wants to eat. Slinkman wants a salad bar. The Jelly Beans look at Lumpus's elbows. Lazlo whispers to Lumpus that he needs to take his elbows of the table. Suddenly, a bear comes to the table and welcomes the Bean Scouts. He gets out a chainsaw and some beef and chops it into slices. Lumpus tells him to stop, but the bear keeps chopping the beef. Finally, Lumpus shouts loud enough for him to stop.

Now that everyone has eaten their food, they groan in pain because they ate a lot. The Jelly Beans excuse themselves and the bear comes with the dessert. Everyone groans again. In a restroom, we find that the Jelly Beans are washing their hands. When they press the soap dispenser, they hear a funny sound. Clam suggests that they press it again, but Lazlo denies wanting to do it because of the Bean Scout Code, but he presses it and they laugh. Soon, they start pressing the soap dispenser many times. The bear comes with a check, but Slinkman and Lumpus find that they don't have enough money to pay the check. Lumpus announces to the Bean Scouts that camp tuition has gone up and that he has to collect immediately. Back in the restroom, the Jelly Beans pull toilet paper, pull paper towels, flush a toilet, close a door, clean a window, and do much more with the restroom.
Lumpus shakes a Bean Scout to see if he has any money to pay the check and throws him. He finds that he has a frog, a gumball, and a nickel. He pushes the Scouts to the bus and he sees the bear chopping a wooden table. Now the bear is chopping the bus door off, but luckily they get away. In Lumpus's cabin, he discovers that Chef McMueseli is resting on Lumpus's couch. He is on his couch because he can't be moved according to Nurse Leslie. The phone rings and Lumpus tries to prevent Slinkman from answering the phone. Slinkman answers it anyways and hands it to Lumpus. It's just Clam's mother on the phone and Lumpus asks Slinkman, "Do we have a Clam?" Slinkman responds by telling him that they left the Jelly Beans at Beef Lumberjacks. Lumpus gives the phone to Chef McMueseli and Lumpus goes to his poop-deck, but Slinkman reminds him that they are responsible to the Jelly Beans. Lumpus thinks they can find their way back, but if the parents find out, it could be messy.

So, Slinkman drives to Beef Lumberjacks to find them, however Lumpus prevents Slinkman from going there and they stop. They start to look in a bar and they almost get hit with arrows. At the restroom in Beef Lumberjacks, the Jelly Beans sailing on a trash can. Lumpus and Slinkman look for them in a trash can. In the restroom, the Jelly Beans are still sailing while the water is rising. Lumpus tries to find them under a seat on the bus. Slinkman suggests that they look for Jelly Beans in Beef Lumberjacks and angrily, Lumpus finally wants to try Beef Lumberjacks, but in Beef Lumberjacks, Carsone holds up a help wanted sign of Lumpus. Slinkman and Lumpus can't go in there, so they dress up as women.
In Beef Lumberjacks, Lumpus puts on lipstick and puts it on Slinkman. They meet the turkey and the turkey asks them about helping them. Lumpus wants a table and Slinkman asks, "Hey man, how's it going?" Lumpus looks at him and Slinkman says, "What?" The turkey informs them that they should have a table in about fifteen minutes. Lumpus and Slinkman go powder their noses, but they aren't really going to powder their noses. Instead, they check the restaurant to see if the Jelly Beans are in there, but Lumpus doesn't see them and he insists on going back to Camp Kidney. Slinkman hears Lazlo and it's coming from the restroom. Lumpus comes back and tries to push the door to the restroom open. He asks the Jelly Beans to come out of there, but they do nothing because the Bean Scout Code does not allow them to talk to strangers. That makes Lumpus very angry and he rams the door using Slinkman. He opens the door and a whole flood of water comes out of the restroom thus flooding Beef Lumberjacks. Lazlo realizes that Lumpus was trying to save them and he was trying to protect the good reputation of Camp Kidney in front of the customers. The turkey tells Lumpus that he was the one who left Beef Lumberjacks without paying. He commands the bear to do something with Lumpus using his chainsaw.

We find Lumpus on the wall and a owl kid throws food at him. He gets his head out of the wall and the Jelly Beans are cleaning the restroom and they talk about the Bean Scout Code. The turkey orders Lumpus to insert his head back in the wall and that ends the episode.

Camp Kidney Stinks: We find the Jelly Beans walking in Camp Kidney when they smell something horrible. Clam remembers the smell and so does Lazlo and Raj. They realize that the smell is coming from stinkweed and they run over to a stinkweed patch. Dave and Ping-Pong are walking when they smell stinkweed. Suddenly, the Bean Scouts go over to the stinkweed patch. Samson tells them that they have to lather, rinse, and repeat when they are taking a shower. He smells the Jelly Beans and notices that they smell really bad, but they tell him that they don't smell bad and they rolled around in stinkweed. Samson wonders why they want to do that and Lazlo tries to encourage him to roll around in stinkweed. He won't try it because he can't handle anything that is not clean. Samson smells something and notices that the whole camp smells bad all because of stinkweed. He runs away and Jelly Beans decide to teach him how to love the stinky.

When Samson is cleaning his cabin with a vacuum, someone rings the door bell. He opens it and finds a box with a card on it. Samson reads the card. It is congratulating Samson and he opens the box up. It is full of stinkweed and he runs to the showers to clean himself. Now, Samson is cleaning his cabin with air freshener and decides to go outside, but he falls in a garbage can and Lazlo asks him, "Are you stinky now?" Samson screams and runs over to the showers again. At the Mess Hall, Samson is just about to eat his lunch when he panics. "Is there something wrong?" Lazlo asks Samson. Samson notices him and tells him that three peas got mixed up with his mashed potatoes and Lazlo throws the mashed potatoes and peas at Skip to start a food fight. Skip hits Chip with his food. Most of the Bean Scouts in the Mess Hall start launching food at each other. Samson starts to walk out of the Mess Hall, being careful not to get covered in filth. He made it with out getting dirt and puts on his hat, but food falls all over him. Once again, he runs over to the showers.

The Jelly Beans try to convince Chip and Skip to make Samson to be stinky, but they can't do it. Wait, there's someone else that can do the job and that's Cousin Stinkbug. Cousin Stinkbug goes into Samson's cabin and falls on him while he's sleeping. Samson wakes up, screams, and turns the tables on Cousin Stinkbug and made him cleaner. Now, Cousin Stinkbug is thinking on going to Sunday school. Lazlo finds that Samson is leaving and asks him, "Where are you going?" It turns out that Samson is going to the forest where it's fresh and clean and Lazlo tries to persuade him not to leave Camp Kidney, but fails.

Samson is walking in the forest where there are many trees and flowers surrounding him. He goes on the Rinsing Rainbow and grabs some soap. Now, he is in a soap bubble and the Sun compliments him about being the cleanest Bean Scout. He lands on giant towels, but it is really only a bush. Samson goes over to a log, cleans it, and sits on it. A squirrel comes by and jumps on Samson's lap. He pets her and gets worms and other bugs on his hand and his shirt. The episode shows that the germs looked like Lazlo. Samson goes to a river and washes off his shirt. When he takes his shirt out of the river, he finds that there are hairs on his shirt that were coming from Lumpus bathing in the river. Samson puts his shirt back on, but the shirt is making Samson itchy. Then, wind blows mud on his glasses. He lies on the ground and wonders why he was cursed with his sensitive nose and he thinks that Lazlo is having a good time over at Camp Kidney and it turns out he's not having a good time. Raj and Clam come over. Raj wants him to go dumpster diving again while Clam wants him to eat an onion, but Lazlo doesn't want to because Samson is not at camp. Raj has an idea that the only way to bring Samson back to camp is to take a shower. Lazlo tells Raj to tell everyone to meet him at the showers at 3:00. Although it's 3:00, no one is at the showers except Lazlo. He calls them to get out of the bushes. They can't take a shower because they've gone too far and they can't go back to being clean now. Lazlo takes a shower anyways and tells them they are going to miss the fun. He comes out of the showers and he's glowing. Lazlo turns his head side to side and rubs his arms. He does other movements to squeak. The Bean Scouts are jealous, so they go take a shower as well.

Samson is on the ground and says things about how he misses Camp Kidney and the Bean Scouts and how his eyes are burning up. He sees stinkweed and decides to jump into the patch. It's so stinky, that he is now frozen. Odoriferous, the smell fairy shows up and rewards him with a new nose and take away his fear of filth. With his magic wand, Odoriferous gives a new nose. Samson is now running to Camp Kidney, but where is everyone? They are coming to Samson and they are squeaky clean. Lazlo notices his new nose, but Samson smells bad, so the Bean Scouts run away from him. Chip and Skip don't think he smells bad because they don't have noses and they walk away. They talk about getting a new nose and Samson says, "Merp."
