Recap

The scene opens with a man training and he makes the lap in 20 seconds. He goes underwater for a moment but sees a man standing over him. Meanwhile, Castle talks to Alexis and Martha about how Alex Conrad, a new mystery author, is wanting to go to the station with him and see what he does. Alexis warns that Alex might be stealing Castle’s muse, but Castle doesn’t think so. Martha asks if Beckett knows about it and Castle says that she is going to be thrilled of the idea. However, when he gets to the murder scene, Beckett is not happy with it and says that another writer would get in the way. Castle talks her into it. They get up to Lannii and she tells that the victim is Zack Lindsey, a champion swimmer. She says that he was smothered with a chemical and left to drown. Castle and Beckett talk to the coach and he tells that Zack was going to be the next Michael Phelps. Brian Morris is Zack’s contender, but there was no bad blood. Esposito comes over and says that the night janitor says that he saw Zack with “Rocket” Rob Tredwyck. ..

Episode Quotes
Richard: After everything I've done for him, he goes and tries to steal my muse.
Alexis: Muse thievery. What's the punishment for that, five to ten in mythology jail?
(Martha and Alexis start laughing)
Richard: Yes, you laugh. Go ahead. Laugh all you want. Now I finally know what Obi-Wan Kenobi felt like when Darth Vader turned on him

(The team is talking about Bridget's brothers)
Kevin: (reading from a list) Assault...
Richard: Ohhh.
Kevin: Agg assault...
Richard: Bad.
Kevin: ADW...
Richard: Eek.
Kevin: Battery.
Richard: Hmm.
Kevin: Assault on a city employee, parking enforcement.
Richard: Doesn't count.
Roy: Easy.
Kevin: Dude.
Richard: Just jokes.

Javier: So, a dude can be a muse, right bro? I mean, it’s not weird or anything, is it?
Richard: No, it’s not weird. (turns to Kate)
Kate: (shaking her head) No.
Javier: Yeah...
(Javier leaves)
Richard: That’s a little weird.
Kate: Yeah.
