Holding On - Part One - Recap

An unstable block of flats, containing asylum seekers, collapsed. Maggie's daughter, Joanne, was teaching English there and was trapped underneath the rubble.

Back at Holby, Maggie was not too pleased to see new nurse, Bruno. They had worked together in the past and there was considerable tension between them.

Bruno was shocked to hear that Maggie's husband, Steve, was dead. Joanne was brought into hospital and Bruno made a secretive phone call. Later, Bruno greeted Steve Coldwell, a prisoner who arrived in a prison van - Maggie was stunned to see her husband.

Tess heard a baby crying and went to investigate. But she slipped down the shaft and became trapped with a refugee called Mero. Will they be rescued in time?
