Holding On - Part Two - Recap

Maggie's son, Jamie, was shocked to discover his father was alive and had been in prison for years. Steve tried to convince Maggie that he'd changed but she wasn't interested.

Maggie confronted Bruno, demanding to know why he'd interfered and called the prison. When Joanne woke up and asked Steve to stay, Jamie stormed off, refusing to play happy families. He told Maggie he was leaving home.

Trapped in the old mine shaft, Tess and Mero tried to keep their spirits up. The rescue workers pulled Tess to safety, but Mero fell down the shaft.

Tess was hysterial and clung to Sam. Back at Holby, she was in shock and couldn't believe Mero was dead. However, he was later brought in and the pair were reunited.
