The Legion of Doom has forged a partnership with the Fearians: a three headed, Venusian race. The bargain? The Legion will be granted complete control over all Earth beings in exchange for the colonization of Earth by the Fearians. There are, however, two catches: first, Earth's climate must be altered to that akin to a tropical rain forest spanning the entire globe; and second, the SuperFriends. But don't worry about them; the Fearians have vowed to 'take care of them with ease.'

Episode Quotes

Narrator: Deep within the boundaries of their treacherous swamp, the Legion of Doom is in session once again, formulating sinister plans that will threaten the entire Earth.

Robin: (Said throughout this episode)
  • Holy iceberg! San Francisco is frozen solid!
  • Holy multiple emergencies! What now?!
  • Holy impenetrability! We'll never get outta here!

Flash: It's my archenemy, Captain Cold, with another of his icy gadgets. It shouldn't be too hard to defrost his plans.

Aquaman: Black Manta! I should have known you'd be responsible for such a fiendish act!

Aquaman: Black Manta is trying to ram me!

Captain Cold: (to Toyman) It's not how you play the game, Toyman. It's how you win.

Green Lantern: I've only got seconds to stop those comets before they smash into the Earth. Power Ring won't work on these yellow comets, I'll have to move the Earth out of the way!

Green Lantern: We've obviously been tricked by some sort of diabolical plan of the Legion of Doom.

Aquaman: We've gotta hurry. There's only minutes left to save the Earth.

Solomon Grundy: Solomon Grundy stop you! Solomon Grundy stronger than SuperFriends! (Grabs Superman and hoists him above his head) I got you, Superman! (Chuckles)
Superman: But not for long, you overgrown swamp rat!

Episode Goofs

Continuity
As the Legion of Doom talks over their latest sinister plan, including the Fearians, they seem to play 'musical chairs'. The Legionnaires can be seen in various positions around the horseshoe-shaped table throughout the scene (in too many variations to mention here).

When Hawkman flies to assist San Fransisco we see him from the back, he's missing his normal green pants.

At the very end of the episode (before the credits roll), Black Vulcan is missing the black sleeves of his costume

Visual: (Captain Cold flies around freezing things)

Captain Cold first freezes different cities as we see by the landmarks within: First, Washington D.C., where he freezes the Washington Monument, Capitol Hill and the surrounding structures, and then the Lincoln Memorial; San Francisco – including a visual of Golden Gate Bridge; New York, including the Statue of Liberty.
