| 45 :03x01 - The Honeymoon's Over (Oct/05/2000) | | While Piper is on holiday with Leo in another plane, Prue and Phoebe must face a series of deamons known as Guardians, who protect mortal murderers in exchange for the souls of innocents. After saving Daryl from a Guardian, Prue and Phoebe must testify in court, where they stumble upon an evil conspiracy. Phoebe falls in love with the District Attorney - Cole Turner. Eventually, Piper returns from her holiday believing she has been gone for a day, when she has actually been missing for over a month. She later reveals that The Powers That Be delivered an ultimatum - either Piper and Leo end their relationship, or Leo is reassigned permanently, and the sisters get a new Whitelighter. To defy this order, Leo proposes to Piper in secret, since The Powers That Be cannot break a holy union between two people. With Prue's empathic powers growing, she urges Phoebe to go after Cole and save their relationship. Within a few hours, Prue's spell backfires as the warlock intended, causing her and her powers to lose control.
