Piper contracts a deadly virus, and Prue and Phoebe cast an awakening spell in an attempt to save her life. Unfortunately, using magic for personal gain has consequences, leading to Piper's illness becoming an epidemic and the sisters no longer being able to sleep at all. Also, Prue quits her job at the auction house, and Phoebe enrolls in college.
