Episode Summary

The Halliwell Sisters (Prue, Piper, and Phoebe) come back together after the death of their grandmother. Once under the same roof, their bond is reformed and their destiny awaits.

A curious Phoebe, wandering through the attic, discovers an ancient looking book. Once she reads from it, the sisters' powers are activated and they become witches. They find they have trouble adjusting to their new powers and responsibilities.

Episode Notes

The cast of this episode is still in developmental stages. After this episode, Lori Rom (Phoebe) and Chris Boyd (Andy) will be replaced by Alyssa Milano and T. W. King.

This episode is much like episode 1x01 Something Wicca This Way Comes, except for the cast changes and minor scene differences. More characters were also added, that didn't appear in this pilot.

It is mentioned that the cat Kit seems familiar to the sisters. It turns out the the cat is indeed their "familiar." (A familiar is an animal that is special to a witch. They provide them not only companionship, but also magical guidance and protection)

This pilot runs for approximately 30 minutes.
