Narco (2) - Recap

The scene opens with a SUV hitting Annie’s car while she is parked at an intersection. Hector Torres grabs her and his team puts her inside with duct tape on her mouth. Meanwhile, Jimmy and Natalie are getting “busy” when he gets the call that Annie is missing. Later at the U.S./Mexico border, Hector gives Annie over to a group of men who happen to be driving a government vehicle. The next day, Jimmy and Marco arrive at Isabella and Matthew Cordova’s funeral and they both know that Pablo Cordova is behind it. However, Pablo tells that he is not saying a word. Meanwhile, Hector and his thugs drag Annie to a ranch and there is a tiger that is in a cage. One of the men says that Pablo Cordova wants her to see where she is going to see her end and lead her to a cell.

At headquarters, Luke and Daisy watch the surveillance video of a parking lot and see that a criminal named Peter Chavez pull up in a van and steals a SUV, the same that hit Annie’s car. They go to a nightclub where Peter works at and once he sees the team, he runs. However, in the parking lot, Jimmy is there waiting and arrests him. Luke suggests that they take him right to the U.S. Attorney’s office, but Jimmy knows already that he is not going to give up Pablo and that they are going to hand him over to the Satevo Cartel. He says that the Satevos are in the middle of a war with the Cordovas and would do “anything” to get information out of him. Luke disagrees with this, but Jimmy has the seniority on this and outranks his decision. Jimmy tells that Daisy is to keep Luke quiet while they do this. Annie sees a man get eaten alive by a tiger and can hear a kid crying. She hears that his name is Tim and he was kidnapped because his father, Dan O’Neil, is a lawyer in Houston. Annie recognizes the last name and realizes that he was the mole that was in Cordova’s pocket in the police department. She is shocked to hear that Tim has been kept alive in the cell for a month.

Meanwhile, Jimmy and Marco meet with Carlos Zolo, the head of the Satevo Cartel. Marco knows Zolo from being an undercover cop and Marco tells him that Cordova kidnapped Annie and that if word gets out, it will be bad news for all the Cartel gangs. Marco shows that they have Chavez and says that he knows where Annie is and that they should get it out of him. Back in the cell, Annie asks Tim to talk more about how he got put in there and he tells that a man named Victor brings in the food. Annie tells him the more she knows, the easier it will be to get out. Back in Houston, Zolo tells Jimmy and Marco that it was Cordova’s men who kidnapped Annie. He says that Pablo told them to keep her alive until he can get down there and kill her in person. Jimmy and Marco meet with acting U.S. Attorney, Melissa Randolph, and ask for a warrant to get Pablo Cordova. However, she refuses. Jimmy and Marco find that they can arrest Pablo for failure to pay off a speeding ticket they found in 1997. However, they find out that Pablo is having her plane refueled and race to get to him before he has a chance to leave.

They get to his house and Mandelbaum, Pablo’s lawyer, says that he is going to get him free in 15 minutes. Meanwhile, Victor enters Annie’s cell and finds that she has killed herself. He enters and Annie shows that she is not dead and kicks Victor. She grabs his gun, knife, and his car keys and opens Tim’s cell as well. They sneak around the courtyard and steal Victor’s car. The men fire their guns at the car, but Annie and Tim escape. Meanwhile at headquarters, Luke tells that he got a call from acting U.S. Attorney Randolph demanding where Jimmy and Marco are hiding with Pablo. He says that she told him that they arrested him and now they are hiding. Daisy tells that Annie is in Mexico and if Pablo gets to her, she is going to be killed. Luke says that he can help and that he can call his dad to use the CIA to find where Annie is, but Daisy tells him to leave everyone out of it.

Jimmy has Pablo in the car and demands to know where Annie is. He tells that he doesn’t know. Jimmy tells that Annie didn’t even kill Isabella and Matthew. He tells that the Satevo Cartel did. Jimmy says that he is going to turn Pablo over to the Satevo Cartel, but Pablo is not scared. Meanwhile, Annie and Tim walk into a gas station and suddenly, Hector and his men arrive. Annie puts a gun to the attendants head and tells that she will kill him if he doesn’t hide them. He says that he won’t tell them and once they leave, Annie and Tim drive off in the gas attendant’s truck. At headquarters, Jimmy tells that Annie is being held at the Allende Compound. They get a hold of Perez, but he tells that he can’t do it for at least 8-10 hours. Jimmy tries to think of something that could be quicker, but acting U.S. Attorney Randolph comes into the headquarters and tells Jimmy to meet with her. Annie finds an abandoned home and it has a phone. She dials a phone number.

Back at headquarters, acting U.S. Attorney Randolph wants to know what Jimmy and Marco have done with Pablo. Luke bursts in and tells that Annie is on the phone. She tells the team that she has Tim O’Neil with her and they are running from Cordova’s men. She says that Tim’s father, Dan, became wrapped in the Allende Cartel as their mole after they kidnapped Tim. She gives the address of the abandoned home. Jimmy tells that they are going to be there in four hours. Annie tells Tim that his father is in prison for giving the Allende Cartel information that was confidential. Tim runs outside, but Annie sees Mexico cops and the SUV’s of the Cartel coming their way. The cops surround the house and start shooting. Suddenly the Satevo Cartel arrive because Jimmy told that if he rescues Annie, they will go after Pablo and send him to prison. Zolo gives Annie a suitcase that is full of the evidence that she needs to put Pablo away forever. Annie tells that if Zolo takes over the territory that is Pablo’s then they are going to be going after Zolo next. He agrees. Zolo drives Annie over the border and the team meets her. Back at headquarters, Jimmy gives Randolph the evidence that Zolo gave Annie. She asks where he got it, but Jimmy doesn’t tell her. Randolph says that Internal Affairs is going to open an investigation into Jimmy’s “tactics” and the episode ends with Tim reuniting with his father and Pablo getting arrested. His father is escorted back by Marshalls to prison and Tim cries.
