Luke tells that Daisy has been avoiding him as well and that she is drinking a lot too. He says that it started when Justin Tate, the former police officer turned pedophile, escaped, she has been reliving the past. She tells him that she might be staying with her brother, Mark, and his daughter. Meanwhile, two inmates, Danny Bottner and George Diaz, escape from prison. Another inmate falls on the dirt road. When the driver gets out to check it out, Bottner and Diaz run off. Annie and Jimmy get to the prison and talk to the Warden. He says that Bottner was accused of rape and Diaz was armed robbery. The team gets ready to search, but Marco tells that he hates snakes. They search and they find Diaz, but there is not a trace on Bottner. Back at headquarters, Luke tells Annie when she gets back that Daisy was arrested for DUI and is in jail.

Annie and her team get back to the field and continue their search, but there is no sign of them. Luke goes to the prison to get Daisy. She tells that she knows that she is going to get a lecture for her actions. However, Luke tells her that his mother died of cancer when he was a teenager and that it made his father an alcoholic. He says that drinking is not going to fix things for her, they are only going to make it worse for her. Daisy opens up and says that a music teacher molested her when she was nine-years-old and it lasted for six years. Meanwhile at Cypress State Penitentiary, Marco pretends to be an inmate to listen on Diaz and another inmate. Diaz tells him that it was Bottner’s idea to escape and not his. He says that Bottner told him that he wanted revenge and that Diaz was his protection. Daisy comes in and says that she is alright now. Annie looks at the file and suspects that Bottner is going to go to Caroline Belkind, the woman who initially said that he raped her. She says that Bottner’s wife at the time, Lydia, told the police that she found earrings that belonged to Caroline in his pockets when he came home. She said that Bottner had a fantasy of having sex under the bleachers and she told him no. That is when he did it to an unwilling person. Daisy comes in and says that Bottner’s former therapist, Dr. Alan Paxton, and he is claiming that Bottner just left his office. They rush over to find him.

The team arrives at the office and Paxton says that Bottner had come to him for help. He says that he allowed Bottner to borrow his BMW and says that he has LoJack installed on it. He tells that Bottner hates woman. He thought that Bottner was not capable of rape and just kinky. Meanwhile, Caroline is cooking when Bottner comes up behind her with a knife to her throat. The H.E.A.T. team arrives, but Caroline is already gone. Bottner takes Caroline to the place where he raped her before and tells her to tell him what she testified. He starts to tie her up to the bleachers. Later, the team arrives and they are told that a jogger ran up and scared Bottner off. They talk to Caroline and she says that Bottner knew that she had lied at the trial and that she was just remembering another rape that Bottner committed. She says that the girl was too scared to talk and the District Attorney said that she needed to tell the girl’s rape for her. Jimmy and Annie look at each other and say that they have to find the lawyer that told her to do that.

Back at headquarters, Daisy says that Caroline can stay with her mom until they catch Bottner. Luke comes up to Daisy and says that he found out the name of her molester. His name is Jared Porter. He says that he wanted to arrest him, but Daisy says that the time is up on the case. Meanwhile, Bottner, who has cleaned himself up, enters the courtroom and gives the clerk some donuts. Annie and Jimmy go to the office of District Attorney, Bill Carter, and tell him that Bottner is going to come after him. Bill says that he coached Caroline and that the rapes were identical and had one earring ripped out. Meanwhile, the clerk escorts Bottner to the records. Annie and Jimmy are told that someone is reviewing the file on the rape and they race over, but they are too late. Bottner is gone with the file. Annie fells that Bottner was in fact, falsely accused. Bottner is after the initial victim to find out why she framed him in the first place. Later that night, Bottner has Megan Burroughs, the woman who told that Bottner was the rapist. He tells her to tell him about the rape and she tells that she was tied to the pole first. Bottner tells that he didn’t rape her because he is too short to reach the poll. Megan realizes that she sent Bottner to prison on a false story for seven years.

Annie and Jimmy have Megan come down to headquarters and she tells that she doesn’t know where Bottner could have gone, but he knows that he is after the man who raped her. Meanwhile, Bottner goes to a supermarket and finds Lydia. He takes her in the back room and convinces her that he didn’t rape the girls. She draws a gun on him and he shows a key that he never took off. She lowers the gun. Afterward, Annie and Jimmy arrive on scene and Annie tells that Lydia was found in the back room crying. They talk to Lydia and she tells that Bottner is going to Brian Podemski, the man who testified on his behalf. Bottner believes that he was the one who raped Megan and Caroline. Meanwhile, Bottner sees Podemski at a NASCAR track and points a gun at him. Podemski says that he couldn’t have raped anyone because of his injury in Iraq. Bottner is upset and when Annie and the team arrives, he gives himself up. However, Annie believes that Bottner is innocent. She realizes that it was Dr. Paxton who raped the women because he knew of Bottner’s sexual fantasies.

Annie and Luke go to Paxton’s office and talk to him about Bottner’s motive for raping the women. Paxton says that Bottner sees women as a sport. Paxton gets a call and says that he has to leave. Annie tells that they have Paxton telling about his motive of raping. They put a trace on Paxton and realize that Paxton thinks that Bottner is still out there and so he has a free pass to rape again. Paxton pulls up and sees an out of state Kappa Alfa Omega sticker. He calls the bar and tells that the car owner left her lights on. Paxton gets ready to tase the girl with a ski mask on when Annie and her team arrive and arrest him. Annie gets Bottner out of prison to be reunited with his family once more. His daughter and wife go into the room and Bottner says that they need to make up seven years. She hands him the box and he opens it with the key he has been carrying around. There is a picture of them when she was three years old. Luke goes up to Daisy and asks what he can do. She says that she appreciates it. She says that she won’t shut him out. She goes over to Jared Porter’s house and realizes that her niece, Clara, is taking music lessons from Porter now. She is nine-years-old. The episode ends.
