Chopped

Chopped

Passion and expertise rule the kitchen on the fast-paced new series, Chopped. Hosted by Ted Allen (Food Detectives), the series challenges four up-and-coming chefs to turn a selection of everyday ingredients into an extraordinary three-course meal. After each course, a contestant gets "chopped" until the last man or woman left standing claims victory.

Each week, a rotating panel of culinary elite judges including Alex Guarnaschelli, Aaron Sanchez, and Geoffrey Zakarian will decide whose dishes shine the brightest and award the winner $10,000. (Source: Food Network)

replenish food itemsRating: 1 likes, 0 dislikes

I enjoy watching chopped. I can feel the stress along with the chefs. It takes me away from my own issues. I believe though that you need to replenish the food used in each segment. The chefs should not be penalized for lack of ingredients. The chefs should be given a tour of what and where the food and the plates are kept in the kitchen. I thnk you should have shows wher you bring back the chefs who were the first to be chopped to give them a second chance. Read more

Chef dropping food and not choppedRating: 1 likes, 0 dislikes

I absolutely cannot believe that you didn't "chop" the goof that dropped the beef on the floor and after not even washing it off, cooked it and served it to the judges. I made note of the restaurants that the judges own or have affiliation with and made certain that I would NEVER eat in them. Read more
