When he does, he sees Alex painting Morgan with chocolate, among other things. He growls, she hears it and uncovers her eyes. "Dad!" Casey sets aside his lack of amusement to growl "Mission. Now." before heading out the door. Chuck wishes everybody a happy Valentine's Day.

They are believed to have been killed by Boris. He intends to take control of Volkoff Industries by eliminating all the opposition. The only profile unavailable in the Hydra database belongs to Vivian MacArthur. Beckman wants them to go to England and bring her back. As Chuck and Sarah mingle, Casey steps up his attack. Morgan is living with an engaged couple, it's like he's their kid.
Chuck asks a woman at the party about Vivian, but she doesn't even know what she looks like. His appetizer is way too spicy, and he helps himself to another woman's glass of wine. He apologizes, but she doesn't mind. She has the same bad reaction to masquerade parties as Chuck. They hit it off.
Sarah meets Boris, and he's charmed. She asks if he's seen Vivian and he says no, but he hopes to so he can thank her for this exquisite party. As he walks away, Sarah sees that he's armed.
Chuck asks his mystery woman how she knows Vivian. She doesn't, and she doesn't know anybody who does. If this was her attempt to get to know the neighbors, she failed miserably. Chuck says that at least there's an open bar. He glances over to it, and when he looks back, she is gone. Sarah comes over and tells Chuck she met Boris. She radios over to Casey that Boris is wearing a green mask. Casey says he's on it. Sarah tells Chuck they have to find Vivian before he does. Chuck realizes that he may have just met her.

Chuck and Sarah believe Vivian. Casey wants to know why Boris thinks she has the key. Morgan is on the phone with Alex. Casey says he feels like a third wheel, so Sarah offers to spend more time with Morgan. They do so, and both Sarah and Morgan are bored to tears. She tries playing with his action figures, and he assures her that these are not toys. Suddenly, Morgan realizes that these are toys. Not only that, but Sarah is not there to hang. She's there because Morgan is a third wheel. He can't live like this anymore. He has to move out.
Vivian fills Chuck in on what it was like to be Alexei Volkoff's daughter. He kept her busy, every minute of every day. Despite all that, she still doesn't know what to do with her life. Chuck stops being a spy so he can tell her what his life was like a few years ago. He was working a series of dead end jobs and living with his sister. Then an opportunity fell into his lap.
As Casey walks down the hall, he runs into a young woman. She thinks between bartending and paperwork his talents may be wasted. He remembers her from the bar. What is she doing at Castle? She shows him his badge. She's with NCS, Jane Bentley. She has a new project she'd like to see him head up. When Casey asks what the directive is, she's happy to hear he's curious. She says she'll be in touch.
Chuck tells Vivian he's happy with his life. If she gives it some time she should be able to find her path, too. Chuck wants to put Vivian in a CIA safe house. She's tired of being safe. She wants to be used as bait. Chuck first says no, but then reconsiders.
Ellie and Devon have memorized the song in the sleep sheep, and want to turn it off. As soon as they do, Clara wakes up. Devon figures it could be worse, but Ellie doesn't buy it. Devon says they're doctors. They go without sleep all the time. He hits the button, and Clara stops crying as her parents sing along.
Sarah called Chuck and told him that Morgan was moving out, so he came to try to stop him. He thinks it's about Valentine's day, but Morgan assures him it's not. This has been a long time coming. Casey shoots the man who is about to shoot Sarah for not being Vivian. He takes Sarah to get some cover. Chuck notices they're being followed, and Vivian picks up the pace. Their followers take a shortcut and stay with them. Their horse is too slow because it's carrying too much weight, so Chuck uses the intersect to dismount. He then uses the tree branch to swing around and take out their followers.
Casey works on taking out the enemy as Chuck radios him. Sarah starts regaining consciousness. Casey almost shoots Chuck. Vivian returns to the stables and radios Chuck. Boris is waiting there for her. He wants the key. She doesn't know about it. It's in the locket she put around Sarah's neck. Boris tells her about all the classes she took and abilities she has. Her whole life, her father's been grooming her. She is his succession plan. Boris insults her as an indecisive, weak little girl. She pats her horse who rears up. When Boris reacts, she pulls a shotgun from the saddle and shoots him.
Sarah reassures Vivian that she had no choice. Vivian wonders what will happen to Volkoff Industries now. Casey tells her that without Alexei's leadership, it's just an empty building in Moscow. Sarah gives her back the necklace. Chuck asks about the key, and she says Boris didn't say anything. As they leave, she thanks Charles for all his help and advice. She's ready to figure out what to do with the rest of her life.
