WOW, glad I happened to have NBC on last night or I would have missed the first Chuck since its hiatus. I admit I missed the second one (on too late) but 1x12 was good. What was NBC thinking, with the writer's strike, to air two NEW episodes on the same night, separated by an hour? You think they'd want to stretch them out a bit, and have them on the regular night where fans would know to look.
Well, anyway, I enjoyed Chuck vs. The Undercover Lover. Casey was HOT in this episode, loved knowing he could get a woman like that. And even though it was short, I really liked the scene with Chuck under the bed with Casey & Ilsa about to go at it.
Also, Ellie's fight with awesome and Morgan taking care of her was sweet.
I think I could have done without the cheesy old Neil Diamond song, though. |

I only watched the first episode as well for the same reason. To be honest, I didn't even know that the episodes where on until I checked the schedule on the site last night.
Oh well, I liked Chuck vs. The Undercover Lover - it was nice to see a little bit into Casey's life. I thought it was funny as heck the way Casey reacted when Chuck jokingly called him by the pet name Ilsa had for him.
It was also nice the way that Ellie and Awesome worked out their problems, it looks like she's not used to/uncomfortable being single if they were to break up. |

The second episode was better than the first one. The whole series is becoming somewhat predictable.
Don't you think it's about time Chuck quits standing there with his mouth open while everyone else kicks butt? |

YES!!! You'd think they'd want to train him to defend himself so they wouldn't have to keep Sarah & Casey on him all the time. But, as we know, that would kind of destroy the series. Still though, having him whoop a little ass now & then would be fun.

That's how I knew it was on the other night, because of the daily schedule. I never saw any commercials advertising the new episodes. |
