• Medium Renewed as Chuck Returns to Questionable Status

Okay, this is getting ridiculous now. If you're feeling yanked around Chuck fans, I'm with you.

Let's backtrack, shall we? First we heard that come Monday, May 4th, we'd know whether the show was renewed or not, as NBC announced their 2009-2010 lineup at their "infront" event to advertisers. Then Chuck star Zachary Levi told E! that series co-creator Josh Schwartz had informed him NBC was delaying the decision - only for DeadlineHollywood.com's Nikki Finke to say NBC had renewed the show and would announce it had on Monday.

But now -- wait for it -- The Hollywood Reporter is backing up the earlier story from E! that the decision has been put off another week or so, along with the decision on the original Law & Order.

There is still the chance NBC could announce Chuck's return on Monday, which would certainly be a relief, after all of this drama over poor Mr. Bartowski and his funny and clever series.
