Chuck Is Doomed (Though He Shouldn't Be)Rating: 5 likes, 6 dislikes
I watched my first episode of "Chuck" tonight (Monday Oct. 8, 2007) and found it mildly amusing. I was glad to see Adam Baldwin, whose 'Jayne' was my favorite character in the film "Serenity" (except for the brilliant portrayal by Chiwetel Ejiofor as 'The Operative') and "Chuck" has a fun-loving approach to its action scenes and formulaic plots that makes it easy viewing while I'm waiting for Monday Night Football.
The techies at the Best Buy type computer store are by far the most entertaining thing about the show, and for some reason the program reminds me of Pamela Anderson's short-lived, but surprisingly hilarious "V.I.P.".
Of course, the "Chuck" plot is derivative of 'Jake 2.0' (in fact Chuck looks like a geekier Jake, though before tonight, I didn't think that was possible), and Jake's abilities were derivative of 'The Dead Zone' and 'John Doe' to name a couple.
Chuck himself is a little too cowardly and stupid for my taste (but it is good for laughs): hopefully Chuck will grow a more substantial vertebral column as the series evolves, though I have the sneaking feeling that he won't have enough time for that to happen.
Sadly, the fact that I like this show is the kiss of death for the series. I won't bore you with the long list of shows I have liked that were summarily executed, so I will enjoy this one for the brief moment it flutters through the ether.
I hope it lasts long enough for the techies to get more involvement: maybe they will end up with their own spin-off like "The Lone Gunmen" did.
(Oh, yeah; they got canceled pretty quickly. Oh, Well.....)
I'll tune in next Monday night anyway.

Brilliant!Rating: 2 likes, 1 dislikes
This is maybe not the most original show out there today, but it's certainly one of the best comedy/action shows. the cowardly nerdy Chuck aka "the intersect" works, as said before, at the Buy More, as a part of the "nerd herd", where he either is in the store selling electronics, or is out fixing computers for people. he's a regular nerd living an average nerdy life, when his life suddenly gets turned upside down. his average life suddenly becomes his 'cover' when he's turned into a secret agent, and this is where the fun begins. action, drama, humour, this show has it all. despite some filler episodes here and there, it's a fun show to watch with a lot of excitement and laughs. Adam Balwin, perhaps better known as 'Jayne' from Joss Whedon's "Firefly" and "Serenity" portraits a stone cold weapon maniac NSA agent John Casey, much like in Firefly(except the agent part). Now maybe this is just the Firefly fan in me talking, but Adam Baldwin is an amazing actor, and I love his parts in the show. emotionless and serious all the time, all though some times he shows a trace of joy or compassion. The CIA agent Sarah Walker (Yvonne Strahovski) is the more passionate and pretty version of John Casey, and she adds the sexy -factor to the show. she's intelligent, mysterious and beautiful. Now back to Chuck. he's a typical nerd (or at least the creators tries to make him look like a nerd), and he's funny. He's scared of doing anything dangerous, but he does it anyway if it's for those he love. He's in an undercover relationship with the beautiful Sarah Walker, and fools all of his nerdy friends and family. now there's a lot of elements in this show. there's a little bit of everything, and they put it together surprisingly well. it would seem a bit complicated, but it actually isn't, and maybe that's because the 'normal' characters in the show is someone you can relate to. funny, nerdy, action-filled and not too serious. if it was anything I would want more of in this show, was a bit more serious dialogues from time to time, as they try and make everything really really funny all the time.

The best tv-show right now!Rating: 2 likes, 1 dislikes
I watch a lot of series but this one is the only one right now that I canĀ“t get enough of. From the first episode to what now seems to be the last episode ever I have never been disappointed by a single show.

Every episode have the interesting action-story, the humour and the always so hot chemistry between Chuck and Sarah. And the combination of them all is what makes this tv-show so unique and always so fun to watch.

I really hope there will be many more seasons to come because this is the best show on the world for 2009!

Things I love about ChuckRating: 1 likes, 1 dislikes
I love the storyline and the storyboard. I also love the character design but why did they have to script Chuck as a wimp because in the field it looks like he's afraid for his life because then his face is a Pale White. My favorite characters are: Chuck, Morgan, I also liked Harry Tang while he was on the show, General Becket, John Casey, Ellie Bartowski now she is Hot:

Is it just me, or is this show going downhill?Rating: 1 likes, 2 dislikes
When Chuck started the first season, I enjoyed the show; being fresh and funny.
During the second season I have found that I don't enjoy the show as much as before.
The main reasons are:
1. stupid technological stuff
2. too predictable
3. characters becoming irritably stupid at intervals
