  Episode Quotes
(Discussing a new case that has very little evidence)
Scotty: We got a shot.
Lt. Stillman: You joined the patron saints of lost causes?
Scotty: It ain't lost if I'm looking for it.
Lt. Stillman: Ooh, we got him to drink the Kool-Aid.

  Cultural References
Lt. Stillman: Ooh, we got him to drink the Kool-Aid.

This refers to cult leader Jim Jones, founder of the People's Temple, and the settlement of Jonestown in Guyana. Nearly 900 of the cult's members committed a mass suicide by drinking cherry flavored Kool-Aid laced with cyanide. The others were murdered by either forcible cyanide injection, or gun-shot wounds, including Jim himself who died from a gunshot wound to the head.
