Common Law - needs to be on your watchlist if you like :

Pros: Brilliant Writing, Great Acting, Good Direction & Production. Excellent Comedy.

Cons: A few jump cuts.

This critic gives it a 8.9 or so - a must see pilot. I understand why the producer said the script was the best he had read in 8 years.

Just watched this,excellent show ,excellent acting,a realy good mix of seriouse and comedy.Expect to get canceld halfway through first season...lol

Ok, from these two posts, I'm going to give it another go. I wasn't able to get through the pilot. Maybe I was distracted or maybe because I had Dexter and Missing waiting for me in the wings...dunno.... but I'll try again.

Forget the preconeptions of 'the odd couple' or that one of the two is a 'sidekick' what seperates this show is that Wes and Travis don't see each other as just police partners but brothers - and they are both afraid to admit that one needs the other, causing awesomeness to ensue.

Just like we all need someone - to help our awesomeness ensue...
