Shirley sets out to make a religious film, but makes the mistake of asking film geek Abed to help. After reading the bible, Abed is inspired to create his own movie, one which Shirley wants no part of. Also, Pierce struggles with being the oldest member of the study group, and considers joining a group of students his own age instead.
Britta: (reading her line on camera) Jesus, did you really die for our sins? That's dopey.
Shirley: (directing) Oh, uh, dope.
Britta: Oop, freudian slip. Perhaps due to my feeling kind of, dopey.
Shirley: Do the line, atheist!
Annie: Sooo, how's your film going Abed?
Abed: It's not blasphemy to say that we are God, Shirley. First Corinthians, "He who unites himself with the Lord, is one with Him in spirt".
Shirley: Did you just scripture me Muslim?
Annie: Jesus was jewish.
Shirley: Are you ever gonna let that go?
