Life is changing in Dog River, Saskatchewan; Brent is adding video rentals to his gas station, which upsets his father. Worse than that is the fact that there's a big-city girl changing the local coffee shop. Lacey's redecoration of the shop upsets the town, until she unveils the final change, which manages to win the townsfolk over, temporarily, at least.
