Everyone loves Brent's cousin, Carl. Everyone except Brent, that is. Carl comes to visit just in time for the Dog River Talent Show; Lacey thinks she's finally fitting in when she's chosen to be a judge for the show. Emma tries to heal old wounds between Brent and Carl by having them perform together. Their act in the Talent Show gives Carl a chance to show his true colours, when Lacey crowns an unlikely winner.
