Life is changing in Dog River, Saskatchewan; Brent is adding video rentals to his gas station, which upsets his father. Worse than that is the fact that there's a big-city girl changing the local coffee shop. Lacey's redecoration of the shop upsets the town, until she unveils the final change, which manages to win the townsfolk over, temporarily, at least.
Fuel tax irregularities bring Marvin Drey, a Taxman, to Dog River to investigate. Oscar schemes with Hank on how best to avoid any tax penalties. Davis, upset about Lacey's new policy on paying for food, takes out his anger on the whole town by handing out parking tickets.
Lacey, still trying to fit in with the rest of the town, starts a "free" Pilates class, and doesn't find out who the competition is until it's too late. Oscar and Emma attend a funeral; Oscar decides that he's not going to be buried in a second-rate coffin, and sets out to build a better casket. Brent and Hank find that they have the same fashion sense, which only Hank thinks is a problem.
Brent babysits for Wanda while she goes to the City for a dental appointment. The entire town is interested in how Brent will fare with Tanner, a known child-demon; they place their bets on how long Brent will last, and what his injuries will be. Hank, feeling guilty about leaving Brent alone with Tanner, tries to rescue him, but has some trouble getting into his truck.
Karen is bored with the lack of police work in Dog River; Davis suggests that she look into some cold cases, and a story in the local paper, The Howler, sets her on the trail of the graffiti on the water tower. The new signs on the bathroom doors shared by The Ruby and Corner Gas cause a lot of confusion among the patrons, which Brent has to sort out. Lacey goes to great lenghts to have her writing published in the local paper, The Howler.
Dog River needs tourists, and more importantly, tourist dollars. Hank comes up with a money-making idea of building The World's Biggest Thing, but is a little short on details, leaving Brent to fill those in for him. Oscar thinks that Lacey has a crush on him, and tries to make himself unattractive. Davis thinks he's getting old.
Lacey's ex-finace is coming to Dog River to visit her; Hank is certain that he's stalking Lacey. Both he and Oscar try to protect Lacey from such a dangerous visitor. Karen and Davis search for a fugitive, and are shocked to find out that it's Stephen, Lacey's ex. Emma tries to convince Oscar to go to the doctor for his not-so-annual check-up.
Everyone loves Brent's cousin, Carl. Everyone except Brent, that is. Carl comes to visit just in time for the Dog River Talent Show; Lacey thinks she's finally fitting in when she's chosen to be a judge for the show. Emma tries to heal old wounds between Brent and Carl by having them perform together. Their act in the Talent Show gives Carl a chance to show his true colours, when Lacey crowns an unlikely winner.
Paul puts in a new 'Claw' game at the bar, and Oscar becomes an expert at it, the hard way. Lacey tries to join the Dog River Chamber of Commerce, but finds that there's more going on than meets the eye. She also has to deal with rats coming from the local grain elevator, but chooses the wrong course of action. Brent and Davis try to out-do each other with new cell phones.
Lacey tries to improve everyone's minds by starting a book club in Dog River. She needs people to fill the chairs, and bribes Brent to join the club, thinking that she'll be able to control him. Brent surprises her by actually reading the books and having opinions that carry some weight with the other members. Brent has other problems as well: a comedian uses a joke on national TV that he stole from Brent, and in return for his membership in the book club, Brent gets Lacey to help him put the comedian to shame.
Brent rents a sign to advertise Corner Gas and The Ruby, but Lacey is less than fond of the slogans he's using to advertise; their fight becomes public, and popular. Oscar is sure that his memory is fine, but everyone else disagrees. Davis convinces Karen to go on a fishing trip with Hank, where she finds that there's another side to him that she never knew.
The Dog River Hockey team begins its season; Brent, the goalie, gets an offer that's difficult to refuse from the rival team. The hockey team lacks direction until they get some coaching from a surprising source. Emma and Oscar have problems getting to the games after Emma allows Oscar to work on the car.
It's time for the Grey Cup; the drive to Regina for the game causes a few problems for everyone. Emma and Wanda get side-tracked shopping in the dollar store; Karen and Davis find that they left their tickets behind and have to try to get some from a scapler. Oscar and Hank drop in on an old friend of Oscar's who's not quite as lively as he used to be; and Brent and Lacey get stuck on the roadside in a broken down car.
After their near-kiss on the way to the Grey Cup, Lacey tries to figure out her relationship with Brent and is shocked to find out that everyone thinks he's out of her league. Oscar "borrows" some money that Emma had saved; Karen discovers the culprit in a report of mysterious gunshots being fired outside town.
When Brent wonders why he's never seen any of his parents' wedding photos, Oscar and Emma confess a shocking secret to him: they were never married. Davis plans a big wedding for them, and blows the budget on it. Hank believes that Brent cheated him out of a Darryl Sittler rookie card and tries to get it back. Lacey tries to help Oscar overcome a problem that he doesn't have.
Brent is shocked to learn that he's not very observant; he hadn't noticed that about himself. He starts paying attention to everyone, which causes more problems than is lack of observation did. Lacey finds a new Scrabble opponent who is unbeatable... by her. Davis regains his lost sense of smell through a chance accident.
Lacey's fear of balloons becomes public knowledge when Brent, Hank and Wanda hold a surprise party for her. Irrational fears becomes the topic of discussion and Brent and Hank try to discover what Wanda's afraid of, but she doesn't seem to have any fears. Oscar tells Emma that he's cooking gourmet dinners on his own, but actually has a secret chef doing his dirty work for him. Hank and Lacey both have problems when telling less than the truth.
Hank tries to trick Brent into owing him a favour, so that he can get Brent to help with some fencing at his cousin's farm. Brent knows what Hank is trying to do, and is intent on keeping things as they are. He gets Lacey to help him maintain the status quo, but then finds that he owes her a favour for her help. Karen has a new hobby that is driving everyone crazy, and Oscar can't believe what people are throwing away these days.
Brent has some extra cash and decides to spend it on every man's desire: a big-screen TV. Not wanting Hank to start coming over all the time, Brent lies and says that he can't go out because he's broke, and the rumour starts spreading that Brent's business is failing. Lacey buys some jewellry from Wanda, then finds that she could have gotten it cheaper from the catalogue; Oscar and Emma engage in a battle of wits, which Oscar is ill-prepared to fight.
Lacey invents a new sandwich for The Ruby and suffers when it becomes too popular. Fitzy wants to install a traffic light in town, but needs to raise the cash for it and so orders Karen and Davis to start ticketing jay-walkers. Oscar and Hank, shocked at the new jay-walking policy, start a program of civil-disobedience. Wanda wants to get a tattoo, but is dismayed when Emma offers to design it for her.
To cut down on insurance costs, Brent installs a security camera in Corner Gas, leading to some interesting performances caught on tape. Hank doesn't believe that the camera is a good idea, and seeks help in getting rid of it. Davis has a new stun gun, and has to fight to keep it out of the wrong hands. Oscar and Emma try to get away for a romantic weekend, but discover that home holds some powerful memories.
After the regular bingo caller has an accident, Wanda takes over his duties and becomes Dog River's favourite bingo caller with everyone except Emma who finds that she just can't win when Wanda's there. Lacey goes to war with Brent, pitting her home-baked cookies against his pre-packaged ones. Karen is suspended from the police force and spends her days hanging out with Brent, leaving Hank out in the cold as "Number One Sidekick."
It's summertime and the mosquitoes are back, annoying everyone in town except Hank. It's also time for the annual time capsule, and Lacey is pleased to be able to participate until she finds out how everyone views her by what they suggest she contribute to the capsule. Oscar returns to work at Corner Gas, which annoys Wanda and sends Brent into hiding at The Ruby where he has another problem to deal with: Lacey's new coffee carafes.
The yearly Dog River curling Bonspiel brings family strife to the LeRoys when Brent starts his own team rather than play on Oscar and Emma's team. Lacey finds herself in demand as a team member, but not for her curling skills. Davis gives Karen the job of guarding the trophy for the Bonspiel, the Clavet Cup, which turns out to be harder than she thought it would be.
An American tourist arrives in Dog River and Hank is assigned the job of Goodwill Ambassador; when Hank does a less than stellar job at things, Brent is called in as back-up. Wes gets a new ATM at the liquor store, which draws a crowd, giving Oscar the center of attention, but he finds that the limelight is fickle. Karen decides to learn French but finds that there are very few opportunities for practising it in Dog River.
Oscar and Emma have been drinking the same wine for years; they were happy with it until Lacey brings a bottle of expensive wine to dinner. They try to get Lacey started on expensive foods, but find that her tastes are more pedestrian. Hank wins the lottery and finds that his life is turned upside down by the newfound wealth. Karen buys Davis a new pair of shoes against everyone's advice.
There's a new doctor around, and Dog River wants to be the home base for the young, good-looking physician. So Lacey is sent out to meet the doctor and show him around; there's just one problem... he is a she. Hank has some repairs happening at home and needs a place to stay; his peculiar habits make him a less than desirable room-mate, causing lots of house-swapping to happen. Brent unwillingly accepts a 100-dollar bill, then finds that it's the best thing that's ever happened to him.
Brent, Wanda and Hank decide to revive their high school rock band, Thunderface, which brings mixed reactions from the people of Dog River. Oscar claims that a famous Country & Western singer stole his song and Karen convinces Davis that it would be a good idea to investigate the claim. Lacey is given a chance to participate in a Dog River activity: she is supposed to write the dedication plaque with the history of Dog River, but finds that Emma is blocking up all her avenues of information.
The airshow is in town and everyone is excited; except Lacey, who fails to give it proper respect and then has to find ways to make it up to everyone. Brent's fortunes at Corner Gas hit a low-point while Hank's business acumen hits an all-time high, leaving Brent begging money from Hank. Fitzy decides that some community policing is in order and has Karen and Davis take to the streets on bicycles; they have opposite and extreme reactions to the idea.
The local baseball teams are up for some slow pitch; Brent is practising his stunning array of pitches; Oscar is practising his third base signals; Emma is practising her power hitting and Karen and Davis are practising ignoring everyone's public drinking. But it will all be for nothing if the team doesn't get 10 players. This is where Lacey and her perfect attendance skills come in... the only thing that could throw a monkey-wrench into the works is the local Harvesters' Club meeting.
It's time for the annual Harvest Dance, and Lacey is upset to find out that this is just one more thing that she's being left out of. She decides to just give the whole thing a miss until Wanda forces her to attend, and receives a welcome surprise once she's there. Hank has a new girlfriend, and she's perfect... except for one small detail. She's from Wullerton (spit), and Hank can't decide if that's a good thing or not. Oscar and Brent try to out-do each other in coming up with reasons to avoid Emma's famous jelly salad.
When Wanda wears a skirt to work and Brent's behaviour towards her changes, she believes that the two are connected; they are, but not the way that she assumes. Oscar and Hank invest imaginary fortunes in the stock market. Emma helps Lacey with her staffing problems, and is insulted when Lacey offers to pay her; Lacey's attempts at an apology only make things worse. Davis has a weak spot, and Karen uses it to her best advantage.
Hank believes that his dreams are telling the future; Wanda and Brent laugh until his dreams seemingly start proving true. Wanda becomes a believer; Lacey tries to gather support to have the town pothole fixed, but finds that's harder than it seems. Davis and Karen both lose their keys in a most unfortunate place.
Brent is drinking too much coffee, and in order to quit, he makes a deal with Emma; he'll stop the coffee if she'll quit knitting. They both try to kick their habits, but find that the cure is worse than the addiction. Davis and Karen start a ride-along program that quickly becomes too much for them to handle. Hank gets an electronic organizer and quickly becomes dependent on it.
In order to stop Davis from blowing the police budget on things they don't need, Karen spends it on a new breathalyzer machine instead; it's such an impressive device that people are lining up to use it, causing traffic jams in the usually car-free roads. Lacey puts up a new bulletin board at The Ruby, but her strict policies cause everyone to seek out a new place to hang their notices. Brent tries to convince Oscar and Emma to make wills before it's too late.
Hank gets some help from a dog that he believes to be The Littlest Hobo. He tries to prove this to everyone else, but finds that he's being outwitted by a dog. Brent and Lacey decide to create some Dog River souvenirs; Brent can't decide which logo to choose for the travel mugs, and thinks he'll solve the problems by choosing both logos. Dog River gets a fire-fighting team, Carol and David; Karen and Davis feel like they're just not getting any respect.
Brent takes his yearly vacation, and keeps the people back home informed via postcards. His travelling has Lacey worried, and she interrupts his time away from home to express herself. Back in Dog River, it's time for the pot-luck dinner, and Karen tries to help Davis prepare for the event, but finds that he's just not interested in being prepared. Oscar decides to join the '90s, and becomes a member of the information super-highway.
It's time for the annual Fun Run in Dog River; Lacey gets in shape for it and convinces Wanda and Karen to train with her, but she ends up eating their dust when she can't keep up. Brent finds an innovative way to join in. Hank has a new job as a crossing guard, and takes his duties a little too seriously; Oscar gets handicapped plates for his car, and doesn't like it when everyone else takes that seriously.
Brent and Hank revisit their childhood treehouse and find that it's been taken over by a new group of kids. They fight to get it back, but soon realize that they have to level the battlefield by acting like kids themselves. Oscar becomes entangled in an affair that he never wanted; Wanda has a talent for escaping police custody and Lacey wants to learn karate.
Brent buys a new digital camera, but has trouble taking pictures with it because he won't read the owner's manual. The Dog River Hotel has a new video trivia game, and this leads to some fierce competition and unusual team-mates, and everyone is surprised by who the winner is. Oscar can't stand his neighbour's garden gnomes, and goes to great lenghts to get rid of them.
Karen has the job of creating the Dog River coloring book on bicycle safety, and she has a few hurdles to overcome before she can finish it; she needs someone to help her draw the pictures, and someone to help her write it. She gets Brent and Wanda to contribute; they end up making things more difficult for everyone. Oscar and Davis get stuck on the LeRoy roof while trying to fix it; Hank finds out that he's had the wrong personality all his life.
When Brent fears that he's losing his hair, he seeks help from Lacey, but she only makes things worse. Wanda gets a new lamp at an auction and then has to fight to keep it when Emma lays claim to it. Hank moves from auto repair to small appliance repair, much to Brent's dismay. Lacey's magic tricks amaze Oscar.
Oscar gets a job as a paperboy for one of the big city papers, then starts a subscription drive when he finds out that Lacey has started a rival paper. Brent draws cartoons for Lacey's paper, and while he thinks they're funny, Karen and Davis have a much different opinion. Hank helps Lacey increase her tips by coming up with "tip-jar questions" but then quits the job he never had when he's not given a share of the profits.
The holiday spirit comes to Dog River; Hank tries to help the needy and enlists Karen and Davis to help him in his helping. Wanda gets, but then loses, the hot toy of the season for her son, and needs some help to replace it. Lacey tries to go home for the holidays, and with many detours, she finally manages to get home, but not the home that she was heading for.
Lacey's friend visits Dog River and shocks everyone with her rude behavior, but Lacey doesn't see it. Hank sets out to prove to Lacey that it's really her friend's attitude that is the problem, and not the usual Dog River suspicion of outsiders. Karen tries some undercover work, but Davis thinks that she's bad at it; Brent and Wanda start a Corner Gas points card that quickly gets out of control.
Hank wants to make a Lego re-creation of Dog River to celebrate the town's centennial, and has to use some interesting substitutes when he runs out of blocks. It's Wanda's birthday as well, but she doesn't want anyone to know. She's upset when her secret is kept just a little too well. Karen is embarrassed when everyone finds out what sport she used to play.
Hank is granted approval for a credit card, which annoys Wanda, as she was turned down for the same card. Karen gets stuck in the middle of a secret war between Brent and Lacey. Davis tries to get in shape with Oscar's help, but doesn't take into account that Oscar is a little behind the times.
When the door at Corner Gas breaks, Brent pays good money to have it fixed, but then can't leave well enough alone, and tinkers with the door, which only makes things worse. Wanda tries to protect her investment in a telescope that she purchased to witness history; and Oscar and Emma take to the camping life, using a borrowed RV to get back to nature.
A jar of jelly beans is the cause of major problems in Dog River; in order to save the children's park, Dog Riverites decide to have a contest, but the jelly beans end up being a bigger problem than the park. Davis, however, is having good times when a convoy of truckers comes through town, as he relives his favourite movies. Hank gets involved in telling lies, which quickly escalates, and he drags Wanda into his den of deceit.
Lacey seeks out Brent's help in buying a new car, relying on his knowledge of cars gleaned from years of working at Corner Gas, but his help turns out to be more negative than positive. Karen and Davis try to break the stereotypical idea of the cop in the donut shop and try some new snack foods. Oscar needs some advice on what to get Emma for their anniversary, and looks to Wanda for help.
Karen offers to cut Brent's hair and is shocked to find out just how territorial Emma is about that issue; Hank reneges on a promise to Lacey, forcing her to seek Wanda's help; Davis asks Oscar for help with his car.
The DJ at a local radio station is imitating Brent and everyone in Dog River thinks that it's really Brent on the radio. Lacey has a new delivery service that's a bigger hit than she thought it would be; Karen and Davis institute a "work to rule" policy, until they discover just how much "work" there is in that.
Hank installs a digital thermostat for Emma and Oscar which starts an all-out war on the perfect room temperature; Karen feels that Lacey needs some reminding of what road signs are for; a security device at Corner Gas helps Brent fill the time.
Brent and Lacey become high school mentors when they acquire shadows for their jobs, but things don't go quite the way they should; Davis is upset that Hank has usurped his place as fondue-king; Emma tries to be nicer to Oscar after a friend gets a divorce.
Brent and Hank begin demolition work on a local barn and things go well... until Oscar pitches in; Davis asks Wanda to catch him "in action"; Lacey, trying to do something nice, gives Emma a manicure.
In order to raise money for charity, Karen locks Davis in the jail cell, and Hank, trying to be helpful, joins him. Lacey wants to give Corner Gas a make-over, but Brent isn't so enthusiastic about it; Wanda insists on fixing Oscar and Emma's toilet, even though plumbing is one of the few things she doesn't know how to do.
After a near-death experience, Hank makes the decision to follow his dreams and become a rodeo clown; Karen prepares to give a speech on eyewitness testimony, but has never spoken in front of an audience before; Oscar doesn't want to be Emma's bridge partner any more, so Lacey takes over.
Hank travels down the information highway, and creates a blog, which Brent is all in favour of, until he realizes that he's going to have to read it; one of Lacey's friends becomes successful with a TV cooking show, and Lacey's cooking goes downhill. Emma tries to take Lacey's mind off things by inviting her over for a BBQ, but a game of horseshoes brings out the worst in Lacey; Wanda helps Davis with his tax return, but the result isn't what Davis expected.
Karen and Davis get a new GPS for DRPD, and Brent discovers that he's not really a 'townie' after all. Lacey loves the fact that Brent's now an outsider, while she's finally "in". Hank finds his calling as a garbage man, but Oscar and Emma feel that he's just a little too into his job and that he's invading their privacy. Davis needs some help with practical jokes and looks to Karen for assistance.
The gloves come off when both Wanda and Davis take piano lessons from Emma; Brent gets a new air pump for Corner Gas, and Oscar shows just a little too much interest in it; Lacey breaks her arm and Hank tries to help her through the painful recovery process, which is made more painful by someone's refusal to sign her cast.
Emma wants a sewing room, and decides to clear out Brent's old things to create one. She gives his old toys to Hank, which causes Brent to have some fond memories, and brings out the possessiveness in him as well. Oscar tries selling cookies door-to-door, and finds that Karen is more than willing to help; Lacey introduces a new kids' menu for The Ruby, and finds that it's popular with the adults as well. Wanda tries to change her attitude towards the Corner Gas customers.
Everything is out of whack in Dog River; it's Mother's Day, but the only person who gets Emma a present is Hank. Brent's in the dog-house for forgetting, but Oscar escapes Emma's notice, what with all the problems that Brent and Hank are causing her. Lacey and Davis hold an embarrassing competition, while Karen and Wanda go shopping at a super-store, then have problems assembling their purchases.
Hank and Oscar both get jobs taking the census in Dog River; unfortunately, they're paired up and find it difficult to work together. Wanda and Brent come up with a way to make more money at Corner Gas, while Lacey gets the wrong impression about exactly what it is that Karen and Davis are doing together.
Davis buys a table hockey game and puts it in the Police Station, and then finds that Karen is pretty good at it. The whole town gets into the game, culminating in a big showdown between Brent and Karen. Hank, seeing the way that Karen prepares for the match, no longer uses Brent as his role model. Lacey joins a new club and nominates Emma for an award to give her some long-needed recognition.
Lacey and Karen decide that they've been friends long enough that they no longer need to ask when they borrow things from each other, which leads to mass mayhem. When Oscar, Emma and Wanda find out that Brent has never seen a horror movie, they're horrified, and set out to remedy the situation; Hank comes to the conclusion that he's spending too much time getting things out of his truck, and so decides to carry the contents of his truck with him.
When Wanda accidentally breaks Emma's prized Potato Bowl, she must find an acceptable replacement or suffer the consequences. Hank, on a mission to improve his skills at story-telling, decides that the road to improvement lies in making fun of Brent and Lacey; Davis, Karen and Oscar start a new club together, but what they're doing in the club is a secret.
Brent breaks his glasses, and decides that he likes the way he looks 'au naturel', but is he man enough to go through with laser surgery so that it's permanent? Wanda doesn't think he is, but her jibes at him are the deciding factor. Hank discovers his true calling in life in slogan-writing; Karen and Davis like one of the slogans so much, they put it on Cruiser #1. Oscar, however, isn't so fond of it, and takes matters into his own hands.
Emma insists that Brent and Oscar take Davis camping with them, where they find that 'Davis in the wild' is a much different animal than 'Davis in town.' Hank has a good hair day, and likes it so much that he decides to keep it; Lacey and Wanda settle their argument over whose job is more difficult by switching jobs.
In yet another effort to increase tourism in Dog River, Hank comes up with another idea, and this one is actually successful. With the tourist dollars in hand, things change in town, in ways that no one imagined. Wanda gets a second job, reporting the news, while Davis takes on some extra work as Fitzy's body guard.
Oscar's complaints about the lack of Dog River-oriented cable programming bring results, and Brent is chosen to select one show created and filmed in town. Brent takes advantage of the bribes he's getting while thinking about the shows. Wanda, Lacey and Emma can't agree on what type of show they want, while Hank finds himself the unsuspecting suspect in Davis and Karen's police show.
Hank's comments on Karen's eating habits prompt her to join a spin class at the local gym, and she's shocked to find out who the teacher is. Lacey gets involved in a "Ladies of Dog River" charity calendar, but is shocked to find out just what she has to do to be "Miss April". Wanda buys a new phone for Corner Gas, but won't let anyone use it until it's fully charged, but then it goes missing.
Lacey finds out that a friendly game of golf with Hank and Brent isn't all it's cracked up to be. Wanda has some troubles parking and tries to buy her way out of them. Oscar and Emma buy a new bed, but disagree over the settings.
Hank pulls a prank on the Dog Riverites, but it backfires on him, leaving everyone wondering if they should be looking for little green men. Oscar and Emma repaint the house with disasterous results, while Brent tries a new look that has Lacey interested. Wanda tries to get Lacey into the dating scene.
Hank finds new and inventive uses for his truck; Wanda tries to improve her love life. Oscar and Emma begin sharing just a little too much, and Brent thinks his sense of smell is off.
Wanda takes over bartending duties while Phil's away, and doles out some much-needed advice to the denizens of Dog River. Lacey goes green at The Ruby, and drags un unwilling Brent along with her. Emma, Karen, and Fitzy try to come up with the perfect gift to send to their twin city in Japan, and have to stop Hank from taking matters into his own hands.
Wanda tries the new energy drinks from the cooler at Corner Gas, and ends up with just a little too much zip. Oscar is chosen to replace the ailing bus driver, and leads the students to anarchy. Hank comes up with a new advertising scheme for The Ruby.
Brent meets the foster brother he never knew he had, and feels insignificant in comparison. Hank tries to bolster Brent's ego, but has trouble coming up with accomplishments in Brent's life. When Karen breaks the cash register at Corner Gas, she makes a shocking discovery about Wanda, who then swears her to secrecy. Lacey finds that "classic" never goes out of style.
Oscar has a mission: to get rid of a mouse that has invaded Corner Gas, but Davis is getting in his way. Karen and Emma try to help Wanda after she hurts her back; Hank and Brent find a new way to have fun, but Lacey gets in their way.
Lacey begins an employee appreciation program, and Wanda is upset when Brent doesn't follow suit. Hank takes up a new hobby, and drives Emma crazy with his constant requests for help. Oscar finds a new way to fill his time by writing for The Howler, and it's up to Karen and Davis to keep him in line.

Lacey goes to a psychic to find out her future, but doesn't get the fortune that she wanted. Brent discovers a can't-fail way to stop Oscar from calling everyone a Jackass, but also discovers that some things are worse than being called a Jackass. Davis gets himself into a situation while re-enacting a scene; Wanda and Emma try to throw a party.
Dog River is expanding, but the new call centre is something that Davis and Hank both have very strong negative feelings about, pitting them against Emma, who is all for it. Wanda starts attending funerals, even going so far as to skip work for them. Karen and Brent think that Lacey is keeping a secret.

Oscar decides that running a Bed & Breakfast is the perfect way to make some quick money, but Emma disagrees. Davis suddenly needs to borrow Brent's car, but won't tell him why. Lacey wins a prize at a silent auction that she could really do without.
