Countdown with Keith Olbermann is an hour-long nightly newscast on Current TV which airs live at 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time and reruns at 11:00 p.m. Eastern Time on weekdays. The show, hosted by Keith Olbermann, debuted on March 31, 2003 on MSNBC and counts down the top news stories of the day with news reports and interviews with guests. The show last to appear on MSNBC was on January 21, 2011. It resumed on Current TV on June 20, 2011.
On March 30th, Current TV released a statement saying they had fired Olbermann and that his slot would be given to Eliot Spitzer starting that same night.
