The world-famous mystery author Michael Malow dies in an unusual way during an accident while fishing. As a fan of this author Alexander's interest is sparked and so he sends his team off. At Malowe's funeral, a murderous attack is committed on his widow. The team believes that the puzzle's solution is to be found in a film, that is filmed based upon a novel of Malowe's. Luke applies to be a stuntman and Nikki to be a reporter , while Peter masquerades under the guise of an insurance investigator to snoop around. The team learns that Malow and his managers differed on the screenplay. During the investigation, however, Nikkis cover is blown and she is in mortal danger ...
