As the country gets ready to celebrate the Queen's Diamond jubilee weekend the series joins boat owners from around Britain as they get ready for a spectacular royal pageant on the river Thames. Paul Heiney takes a look at some of the personal stories behind the extraordinary event.
Paul Heiney continues his exploration of Britain's countryside, meeting trainee farmers, farriers and blacksmiths learning the skills for a new generation. He also tries his hand at more Victorian agricultural methods and introduces another champion of rural traditions.
