No Quarter - Recap

The scene opens in Zurich Switzerland. Annie enters and Auggie is communicating from Langley. See sees a man on the phone and has a orange wristband. She tells that it is her contact. But there is another man with a briefcase and orange wristband and Annie is confused. Suddenly a flash bang is set off and Annie is trying to see the briefcase. The same man who Annie thought to be her contact grabs the briefcase and Annie does too. A luggage cart is driving and hits the man and Annie takes off with the suitcase. The other briefcase the other man was carrying explodes and Annie escapes the airport. Arthur and Joan are watching the news and Joan tells that she will find the leaks in her division. She gives him breakfast and gives him the news paper. A lot of the information is missing and she tells that she knows how he gets with sports. He kisses her and then his phone rings. He tells Joan to ignore it but all the phones start ringing. It’s Annie and there is a problem in Switzerland.

Annie is with the briefcase and Auggie is telling her to find a safe house. She disguises the briefcase with a shopping bag and her identity with a hoody sweatshirt. She tells that she has been made and that she needs to drop the briefcase. She enters a store and Swiss police see her. They enter and Annie drops the briefcase in a cupboard and is gone. Back at Langley, Joan asks about Annie and Auggie tells that she had to drop the briefcase but she is safe. Annie walks into a jewelry store and asks the lady for a ‘79 Lady Elgin. She closes the blinds and tells that Annie needs to give up her passport and she will take her to the safe house. Back in Langley, Joan enters Arthur’s office and Bill, Ken and David are in the office too. Joan says that the FBI has a picture of Annie but are looking for a Gale Beachem and also Ival Levine, the other operative escaped fine too. She tells that nothing has been compromised. Arthur tells that Ken is going to handle extraction. Arthur ask Joan about the Liza Hern leak and tells that the DPD has been compromised.

Back in Zurich, the contact arrives at the safe house and tells that she is in Apartment #503. She has hair dye and the bridge agent gives Annie her scarf in case the color doesn’t flatter her. Annie goes up to the apartment and she is attacked. She wrestles that man to the ground and it is Ival Levine. He stops and she asks what he is doing there. The CIA and the Masad are in the same safe house and it doesn’t make sense to Annie. Ival is making a device and tells that they can exchange briefcases. Ival asks where her briefcase is and she tells that she had to drop off somewhere and tells that it is safe. Ival tells that he is working with an amateur and tells that he is going to take a shower.

Arthur meets with Liza Hern and he tells that she mentioned his name and tells that she needs to be able to play by the rules or he will do bad things to her. She agrees. Annie calls Auggie and asks where a Masad would hide their briefcase. Auggie looks at Ival’s profile and tells that he was and assassin before and Annie is still looking. She asks if he is a double agent and Auggie asks where Annie dropped the package so that they can send an agent to get it. She tells that she can complete the mission and Ival comes up behind and grabs Annie’s phone and snaps it in half. He tells that she could have been traced and that someone is dirty in their divisions and he tells that it is not his. He shows his briefcase and invites her in the shower if she wants it. Back at Langley, Auggie is trying to get a reverse cell phone lookup for Annie’s phone but is interrupted by Ken who tells that it is his turn for investigation. Auggie goes up to Joan and tells that she needs to call off Arthur’s attack dog and let him reestablish contact with Annie. She tells that she can handle it.

Back in the hotel, Annie is going to cut her hair and she sees that she has a cut on her back. Ival tells that she needs to go because it is an emergency. He made breakfast and she doesn’t trust him. He tastes it and
Joan is buying coffee and Arthur offers to buy it for her. Joan tells Arthur that she was hung out to dry and that she asks if he trusts her to run DPD and calls his friends Brutus’s and that there is only one agent that he can really trust fully and he is pushing her away. Back in the hotel room, Ival stitches Annie’s shoulder up and she sees men downstairs and realizes that they don’t work for the electric company. Ival tells Annie to get dressed. The men enter and Annie and Ival are gone. In the elevator shaft, Annie and Ival are repelling and Annie goes first. The elevator starts moving and Ival hangs back. Annie gets the bottom and the elevator stops. Through the vent, she sees that Ival is outside getting shot at by the men.

Back at Langley, Auggie begins his polygraph and the man from the first episode that interviewed Annie is trying to get a base line. He asks basic questions that Auggie tells that he can trick the machine, but when the questions get too personal about his disagreement with management, he can’t fool the machine. Back in Zurich, Annie enters the jewelry store and finds the safe house coordinator dead. Ival enters and Annie handcuffs him to the jewelry display. She picks up the phone and calls Langley except Auggie doesn’t answer. She is asked about her location and Ival tells Annie to trust him and not Langley. She tells that she will call back and tells Ival that she doesn’t want to be disappointed. Back with Auggie, he wants to know the bottom line of the test and the interviewer asks if he is the Liza Hern leak. He says no and there is no reaction to the machine. He leaves. Annie and Ival are walking and Ival thinks that Annie hid the briefcase in plain site and she tells that she didn’t. They go back to the hotel and she tells that everything is easy because it is Sunday and nothing is going on. But she was wrong. They enter and there is a wedding. She tells that the briefcase is under the bridge’s feet.

Arthur walks up to Joan and gives her the information that they know on Zurich. One of the operatives went rogue and she is shocked that he is reading her into it. Arthur is called upstairs and he asks her to dinner. At the wedding they are trying to see if they can distract the bride to get up. Ival attempts to ask her to dance and she tells that she can’t because of an accident. Annie sees that her new husband is partying too much and goes over and has a drink with him. He is flirting too much with Annie and the wife comes over. Annie introduces herself and gives a shot to the bride. She goes over to where the briefcase is and it is gone and so is Ival. She runs outside and Ival pulls up in a car. He tells that he was benched because he missed a ferry coming back from a mission. They are driving and they are hit by another car. It is the same men from earlier. Annie is trying to wake up Ival and when he finally comes to, he springs into action and kills all the men with one gun. He tells that he knew that the men were corrupt and that he was just waiting for the moment. The police arrive and they tell that they have a plane to catch and got notice from Interpol.

Annie and Ival are at the airport and they exchange briefcases and he tells that he hopes to work with Annie again. Joan and Arthur are in bed and she asks if he did the read in as her boss or husband. He tells that he doesn’t have that answer. Annie arrives at the airport and gives the briefcase off. She pulls out the scarf that the lady gave her in Zurich and puts it on and walks away.
