Recap

The scene opens with Annie coming into work with coffee and asks Jai where everyone is. He says that the meeting was moved up to an earlier time. She runs into the meeting, but it is really a surprise birthday party for Annie. She says that it is bad luck to blow out candles when it is not her birthday and says that it is in six days. She wonders if Auggie knew that she wasn’t going to be there on her birthday and Auggie smiles. Joan comes in and tells Annie that she wants to talk to her. She says that she is sending Annie to Paris to talk to a CIA asset by the name of Salma Devrient. Joan says that she has to try to get into the Syrian Embassy so that they could have someone on the inside in Paris. Annie tells that she is focused for the job and Joan tells her to bring back receipts. ..
