In a separate office, the Senior Vice President of the GULF Gas and Electric tells that they are going to get out of there before dinner. Pablo and a bunch of his men enter the office and call each other by name and tell them that he has sent proof of life to their chairman. Annie’s rock climbing trip is canceled and she kisses the guy goodbye as she goes to Langley to see what they want. When she gets there, Auggie greats her and says that it is a hostage situation in Mexico City. He says that one of the executives is Megan Wilkins is an undercover CIA agent. He says that Annie is going to go in as an assess team and gather how many men there are and how many hostages.

Meanwhile, Joan tells Arthur that she is going on the mission and tells Arthur that he is not going to mess it up. Arthur calls up someone on the phone and asks him to pack his bags. Jai goes over to his father’s house, Henry Wilcox. He tells that there is a new article from Liza Hearn and Jai says that he needs him to cover the agents going into GG&E and help them out. Henry isn’t happy of helping Arthur at all. Jai sees Liza in the courtyard and knows that Henry is hiding something. Annie meets Joan at the airport and she gives Annie the documents for her cover. She tells that she should have it memorized before landing. Joan says that Annie is going to be a reporter and Joan is the producer. They get on the plane and realize that their camera man is Ben Mercer. Joan knows that Arthur put him up to it. On the plane, Ben goes up to Annie and tells that he wanted to talk to her and say goodbye, but Annie tells that it is all part of the job. Ben says that she is taking it well. Meanwhile, Scott comes over and Danielle is there to welcome him. He says that Annie forgot her gear. The girls come out and ask if he can play games. He agrees and goes inside. Annie, Joan and Ben arrive at Distrito Federal in Mexico and they get in a car and drive to their location. Joan says that they have 2 hours to get in and out. They meet Delgado and Joan tries to tell Delgado that they need to see the hostages first to make sure that they are healthy and alive. Delgado tells her that she better be willing to bite someone if she wants to show her teeth. Ben turns on the camera and Auggie gets visual and audio on the crew. Arthur comes in and says that he wishes that they could communicate with them because he hates going blind into the mission. Auggie tells him to trust his operatives. They see the hostages and George Nacasio, the Senior Vice President tells that he is there if they need him. Annie and Ben put the camera and she tells a code statement that tells Auggie the number of hostages and gunmen. Delgado tells that he picked the station for good reason and says that he watches the webcasts and doesn’t remember ever seeing Annie on there. He puts a gun to her head and she tells that he can check with the station. He goes on the station website and Annie is on the front page.
Back at Danielle’s, Danielle’s girls are playing Operation with Scott and one of the daughters asks him if he is going to marry Annie. Danielle says that is rude to say, but asks him again. He says that he doesn’t know. She apologizes and says that Annie is happy with Scott. He says that she has the type of schedule that he used to have as an intern. Back at the GG&E Headquarters, a police officer sees Annie, Joan and Ben’s SUV and run the plates. Delgado hears the chatter and tells one of his guards, Detective Obeso. Arthur goes back into the observation room and asks what the status is. Auggie says that the demand of $83 Million is on its way. Annie gets ready to start the interview when Delgado comes up to her with a list of questions. She tries to tell that she writes her own questions, but Delgado says that he is clear. They sit down at the interview and Annie follows the questions. When Delgado gets confirmation that the money has been sent, he tries to end the interview. Annie takes this as a hint and breaks protocol and asks him personal questions that make Delgado break the camera. Auggie tells Arthur to trust Annie, but they have no video or audio. Joan asks what she is doing and Annie tells her that Delgado has no intention of freeing the hostages. Delgado tells Detective Obeso to kill them and tries to take Meagan as security. However, George Nacasio volunteers himself. Back at Langley, Arthur doesn’t like the fact that they can’t communicate and wonder if they should send in the OPS Team. He decides against it and trusts in Joan.
Back at the Headquarters, Joan asks what Ben snuck in because she knows that he did. He shows that he snuck in a charge that will break through glass. Joan and Meagan say that they will take down the guards. The windows shatter and Ben and Annie start to climb to the roof. The men come in and shoot at the windows, but they are bullet-proof. Joan and Meagan manage to take the men down and knock the out. Ben and Annie manage to get to the roof and Ben says that he is going to cut the elevator. The hostages leave, but are interrupted by Detective Obeso. Ben is behind him and knocks him unconscious with a fire extinguisher. Annie and Ben repel off the building right after Delgado and George get out of the building. Ben hits Delgado and knocks the gun out of his hands. George thanks him, but reaches for the gun to kill Ben. Annie is there and protects him. They figure out that it was George who set the entire thing up. Later, Ben asks Annie to go with him to the beach and she declines the offer. He says that he knew that there was something different.

On the plane, Joan tells Annie that Meagan is on another mission already and says that there are two types of agents. Ones that need the job and one that takes missions only. She tells that Annie needs to find out which one she is soon. Meanwhile, Jai waits in a parking lot when Henry’s limo pulls up. He gets in and asks why. Henry tells that Jai will go down with him if he goes down. He says that he has a plan where that doesn’t happen. Joan gets home and Arthur is there. He apologizes that he didn’t let Joan go in there along and she thanks him. He says that he prepared dinner in case the letter didn’t work.
