Faye Valentine [Clever, Sex Appeal], voiced by Wendee Lee
Faye is the unoffical woman of The Bebop. She drifts in and out of the crew coming back in part because she likes the comradery....in part because of Spike. She flys around the solar system in search of both bounties...to help pay her huge debt, and to discover the truth about her past
Faye was in a cryogenized state for 54 years....do to an accident years earlier....she has no idea who she is.
Her story is different than the rest of the crew because instead of running for her past, she's seeking it. Her story isnt as linear as the others....mainly because she isnt seeking a person...she slowly unveils her past and comes to terms with it in "Speak Like a Child".
She returns to The Bebop at the end to be with Spike....but his long lost love, Julia was killed, and he seeks vengance....knowing that he isn't coming back
Faye fires her gun in the air as he leaves and she is left in The Bebop with Jet to ponder the rest of her life. |
