Jet Black [Empathetic, determined, prideful], voiced by Beau Billingslea
Jet's past is murky. The first glimpses are of him on his ship, The Bebop, where him and his partner Spike Spiegel, scower the solar system for bounty heads.
Jet is the voice of reason on the series. His role in the beginning takes a back seat to the story line of Spike and introduction of Faye, Ed, and Ein.
Our first true glimpse of Jet comes in Ganymede Elegy. It shows him and his old flame Alisa. Jet finally comes to grip that the two of them are not going to be together...and wrapping up his trip to Ganymede feels a little bit better in the fact that he has found closure.
Jet however cannot rest. His past catches up with him and he must face the truth about what happened to his arm. Him and his old partner Fad try to catch prisoners how have taken over a police transport ship. In the end....Jet discovers it was his ex-partner and long time friend Fad that had taken his arm....and Fad dies
Jet returns to The Bebop to see Ed leave and Spike die...he is left on the ship with Faye and the story ends.... |
