(Cooper is fighting Kali and Beth is watching)
Beth: Good morning to you too.
Mick: 20 bucks says he asks me to go a round. Somehow he always knows when I've had a rough night.
Gina: Really? What was her name?
Mick: Her name was Lisa. No! It was... Elise.
Gina: That's charming. He never grows up.
Mick: Growing up is overrated, right?
Beth: Why don't you guys just kiss, and get it over with?
Sam: Director wants us on the ground there ASAP. He thought that Mick's expertise in this, might help us build this profile.
John: Yeah, I bet that in the sniper world, kid here is a pretty big deal.
Mick: Yeah, I seem to excel at certain things.
Gina: We'll have to ask Lisa about that one.
Mick: I'm pretty sure it was Elise.
Beth: I'm pretty sure it's irrelevant.
Carol Langstrom: Why would anyone do this to Carl?
Sam: It appears that your husband was a random victim.
Carol Langstrom: Random? How are you gonna find a murderer who randomly shoots people for no reason at all?
Sam: Because there is a reason. Somewhere inside of him there is a reason he does what he does. We may not understand it yet, but when we do, the why is gonna lead us to the who.
Mick: Snipers have a high IQ. They're patient, disciplined, focused.
Gina: They're also controlling. They have huge egos. A God complex. (Mick raises his eyebrows) I mean, according to the U.S. Army research.
Mick: OK, fair enough. We certainly don't lack for confidence. I prefer to call it high self-esteem.
Gina: Snipers feel invulnerable. They choose to keep people at a safe emotional distance. He doesn't see these hits as individuals but as conquests.
Mick: You know, not all snipers are serial killers. Some are just serial daters, darling.
Sam: Conquests... Exactly. These people have no value to him. They're just notches on his belt. (Mick raises his eyebrows again) Talking about the unsub, not you Mick.
