Episode Notes

Elle has been off work for 4 months since she was shot.

We learn that paedophiles can be divided into two categories: situational and preferential.

Situational offenders rarely seek out children but will take advantage of a situation when presented with it.

Preferential offenders actively target children by age group, hair colour, etc. They'll seek out jobs that will give them as much access to children as possible.

Episode Quotes

Gideon: Theologian, Dietrich Bonhoeffer said: "The test of the morality of a society is what it does for its children.”

Elle: Nice haircut.
Reid: Thanks, yeah... I like your haircut, too.
Elle: Is that a boy's regular?
Reid: Yeah, it is. Wha... do you not like it?
Elle: It's totally you.

Elle: (to Hotch) Yesterday I found myself looking forward to watching a soap opera.
Reid: (butting in) Which one?
Elle: Please, can you put me back to work, Hotch?

Dan Ash: Hey, I'm just a middleman here, okay? What can I do?
Gideon: There's a little boy for sale on one of your sites. "What can I do?" just isn't good enough.

Reid: (as Elle attempts to picklock a drawer) Did they teach you that at FBI school?
Elle: No, they taught me that in Brooklyn.

JJ: What else do we have?
Garcia: He used a basic encryption program to hide his payment method. As you know... I'm anything but basic.

Reid: Where you going?
Elle: We can be there in thirty minutes.
Reid: You're not allowed to go anywhere...
Elle: Don't even try it, Reid!

Elle: Hotch? You already got him?
Hotch: I told you to stay out of the field.
Elle: Yeah, I know but Reid said that you wanted us here...
Reid: Wha', no, I didn't!
Elle: Yes, you did!
Hotch: I'm sure you didn't, Reid.
Elle: (to Reid) Thanks.
Hotch: The School District has given us permission to search Rawlings' office.
Elle: I'm on it. (to Reid) Nice work!
