Episode Quotes
Emily: (translating the Arabic message) Our friends surprised us and eloped. We can no longer wait for the wedding as planned. We can deliver our gift at the next crescent.
(the team stare at Emily)
Emily: I lived in several Middle Eastern countries growing up.

Morgan: We have 48 hours to do what the CIA hasn't been able to manage in two months.
Gideon: We could be looking at the first attack on our soil since 9/11.

Hotch: I think you should take Prentiss with you to Guantanamo.
Gideon: 'Scuse me?
Hotch: She could be of help.
Gideon: I don't know enough about her abilities. There's plenty for her to do back here.
Hotch: Well, I don't know what she's capable of either, we gotta find out sooner or later.
Gideon: It's an interrogation not a training exercise.
Hotch: She's the only member of the team fluent in Arabic.
Gideon: Well, there are other translators.
Hotch: Yeah but they haven't studied behaviour.

Hotch: (to Gideon on Emily) My guess is there isn't much this woman's unprepared for.

Gideon: Dale Turner mused: "Some of the best lessons are learned from past mistakes. The error of the past is the wisdom of the future."

Emily: Excuse me, sir? I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate...
Gideon: Do not thank me.
Emily: Sir?
Gideon: It's not a favour.
Emily: Of course, I know that I...
Gideon: You're coming to do a job.

Reid: Do you think the interrogation of Jind Allah will work in time?
Gideon: Interrogation's the most dynamic form of profiling.
Emily: That's not an answer. (Gideon looks up at Emily) Sir.
