Episode Notes |
| |
Joe Mantegna's real life daughter, Gina Mantegna, guest stars in this episode. | This episode represented a departure from the usual episode format.
At the outset of the episode, the BAU team is already on location at the crime scene in Chula Vista, CA. In most previous episodes, the opening scene depicts some aspect of the crime to be investigated, followed by an initial meeting of the BAU team to get organized.
Normally, for a "road trip" episode, the epilogue would be the BAU team on the jet or back at Quantico to wrap things up. In this episode, the epilogue features two of the guest stars having been relocated as a result of the murder in California. |
