1x5: Patterns of the Soul recap: Aboard Excalibur, Gideon receives a transmission from General Thompson directing him to travel to a colony on Theta 49 and contact the leader, Robert Black. Gideon is then to take whatever steps are necessary to make sure they don't leave the planet until he determines that they are carrying the Drakh plague. If they are, Gideon will transport them to a Earthforce ship. Gideon ask why they have to be moved when they're on an isolated planet but Thompson refuses to explain and cuts off... read more.

1x4: The Path of Sorrows recap: Excalibur is exploring an alien planet and Dureena is busy climbing the walls of a ruin while Max tries to find a way in. Galen has Max repeat the translation he's made based on Galen's sources that it's a "place of healing." The archaeologist insists that they have nothing that can cut through the walls and they can't blow open the doors without destroying the contents. Galen interrupts Max's rant to have him to recite the precise translation. It says "Enter freely through the Path of Sorrows." Max says that he's checked all the paths, but Galen says that all paths intersect with the Path of Sorrows. He calls Dureena down and angrily tells her that she's failed. Galen mocks her, reminding her that she failed others in the past and promised not to fail again, only to break her promise once more. As Dureena breaks into tears, Galen tells her to stop and collects a tear on his fingertip. He thanks her and then touches the wall with it. The doors open and Galen invites the others in... read more.

1x3: The Well of Forever recap: As Gideon prepares for a meeting, Matheson informs him that Mr. Jones from the Bureau of Telepath Integration is there to telepathically scan Matheson and make sure that he's following regulations. Matheson says that it doesn't bother him and points out that there's always the possibility of a telepath conducting an accidental scan. Gideon offers to intercede but Matheson says that it's not necessary. Mr. Jones boards the ship and stares at Matheson for a moment... read more.

1x2: The Long Road recap: On Regula 4, a worker at a mining station is repairing the radio when something shakes the building. Another worker comes in and tells her that it's back again, even though it can't exist, and asks the first worker to radio for reinforcements. When he looks out, a huge red eye glares in at him and he runs in fear... read more.

1x1: War Zone recap: Lt. John Matheson breaks up a fight among the crew when they get word that their Explorer-class ship has been ordered back to Earth after the Drakh have released the plague there. The crewmen from the Mars Colonies don't see a point in risking their lives. Their spokesman, Ensign James, asks who wants to die and who is with him. The fight breaks out again and James and a few of his men make their way past him. Captain Matthew Gideon and a security team are waiting for them. Gideon says that they'll have to fight their way past him to take the ship, and James attacks him. The captain easily disposes of him and the other mutineers back off as Matheson returns. Gideon reminds them that he saved their lives under his command and has no plans to let them die, and tells them to go back while he forgets what happened... read more.
