Funniest thing I've seen all year.Rating: 1 likes, 5 dislikes
For some people humour is like unicorns. They've heard of them, but can't seem to find any. Many sit coms really just try to glue a horn on a horse, most can only manage to stick a pool cue on a donkey.
Dads is the real deal. There is a special energy between the cast. That kind of energy that only comes along every so often and is rarest in sit coms.
Seth Green and Giovanni Ribisi bounce of each other like Martin & Lewis, Abott & Costello, Cook & Moore or Laurel & Hardy. The big hoo-haw about the Pilot needing to be re-shot for political correctness is complete and utter bible belt hysteria and propaganda. I for one am delighted that this team stuck to their guns. One of the reasons I laughed so hard was the dialogue was actually the things people really say!
The family dynamics are about as accurate as they get. If anyone has actually grown up in a family, that wasn't a pre-1960's saccharin com, not Leave It To Beaver, then they will identify with this show.
If you want to have a laugh watch Dads. If you have a problem with other people enjoying themselves then change the channel.
I hope this show is left to be what it can be!
