Damages premieres tonight with the "Pilot" episode:

Pilot Wrote:
High-stakes litigator Patty Hewes takes Ellen Parsons as a protégé as they begin to prosecute Arthur Frobisher, one of the wealthiest CEOs in the nation.

The previews I've seen and the reviews I've read make it sound like this will be a pretty good series. Any one planning on checking it out?

I watched some of the previews online, and it looks fairly boring to me. However, I'm willing to give it a chance before I completely dismiss it.

I liked it too. Granted I had to stay up pretty late to watch it, so I wouldn't be surprised if I dozed off a few times ... but Glenn Close, as well as the rest of the cast, were great.
