With Jessica Watson & Damien Samuel out of the competition for the mirror-ball, they are down to their Final Five: Johnny Ruffo & Luda Kroitor, Danielle Spencer & Damian Whitewood, Zoe Cramond & Aric Yegudkin, Brian Mannix & Melanie Hooper and Brendan Fevola & Jessica Raffa! Tonight is the night of the Instant Dance and the stars are also going to have to pull off another dance as well.

Johnny Ruffo & Luda Kroitor are up first. They get into rehearsals he says that this week’s schedule has been hectic. He says that they have a lot of work this week. He says that he’s going to nail the character of the dance. Dancing the Tango, they come out and dance. They go to the judges and Josh says that he looked very profession in the dance and loved it was a contemporary tango. Helen says that he stepped up and says that it was great. Todd says that the choreography was great. He says that it worked out great. They get their scores: Todd with a 9, Helen with an 8 and Josh with a 9. Total score of 26/30. They get their music for the instant dance. It is “7 Nation Army” by White Stripes.

Brian Mannix & Melanie Hooper are up next. They get into rehearsals and Melanie calls in Brian’s daughter into rehearsals. Afterward, Brian tries to get the steps down. He says that it is going to be a big train wreck. Dancing the Quick Step, they come out and dance. They go to the judges and Todd says that it was a basic routine and it was great. He says that he is entertaining, but he lost it tonight. Josh says the song is perfect, but the dance was safe. Tonight he wanted more personality. Helen says that to be fair, they haven’t relied on lifts. She says that it was simple and nice. They get their scores: Todd with a 5, Helen with a 7 and Josh with a 7. Total score of 19/30. They get their music for the Instant Dance and it is “Jump In The Line” by Harry Belafonte.

Up next are Zoe Cramond & Aric Yegudkin. They get into the rehearsals and they have a brainstorm of how they are going into the dance. She is going to use acting in the dance to help her with the dance moves. Dancing the Tango, they come out and dance. They go to the judges and Helen says that was dramatic and says that it was excellent and says that this competition is going good. Todd says that it is hard at this point and says that they stepped it up and loved it at the end. Josh says yes and says that it was amazing. They get their scores: Todd with a 9, Helen with a 10 and Josh with a 10. Total score of 29/30. They get their music for the Instant Dance and it is “Pon de Replay” by Rihanna.

Danielle Spencer & Damian Whitewood are next. They get into rehearsals and Danielle says that the dance this week is energetic and they practice going down the stairs in heels. Danielle says that she doesn’t want to go home. Dancing the Quick Step, they come out and dance. They go to the judges and Josh says that their routine was fantastic and says that she was pure joy. Helen says that she has been consistent from Week 1 and says that the dance was flawless. Todd says that she could have done better then that with the stairs. The footing was off a little off because the body content was a little loose. They get their scores: Todd with an 8, Helen with a 10 and Josh with a 10. Total score of 28/30. They get their song for the Instant Dance and it is “Drops of Jupiter” by Train.

Brendan Fevola & Jessica Raffa are up last for the first round of dances. They get to rehearsals and Jessica wants to make sure that Brendan is not sloppy. He brings his kids to help him with his dance moves. Brendan says that he is in trouble. Dancing the Foxtrot, they come out and dance. They go to the judges and Todd says that it was a dream ballet and says that he could have done without the many lifts this time. He says that he sees that he is trying to bring style to the dance. Josh says that he loved how hard he is trying and says that he really liked it. Helen says that he can be proud of himself with this and says that he did alright with it. They get their scores: Todd with a 8, Helen with a 8 and Josh with a 8. Total score of 24/30. They get their music for the Instant Dance and it is “Painting Black” by The Rolling Stones.

Johnny Ruffo & Luda Kroitor dances their Paso Doble Instant Dance. They come out and dance. They go to the judges and Helen says that they coped with it really well. Todd says that it was a little short with the moves, but he was impressed. Josh says that he was blown away and says that it was bloddy phenomenal. They get their scores: Todd with an 8, Helen with an 8 and Josh with a 9. Total score of 50/60 with a Grand Total of 76/90.

Brian Mannix & Melanie Hooper dances their Samba Instant Dance. They come out and dance. They go to the judges and Josh says that it was quite good and says that he had fun. Helen says that it was clear that the dance was a challenge. Todd says that he is going to give him a point for the lift. They get their scores: Todd with a 2, Helen with a 5 and Josh with a 6. Total score of 26/30 with a Grand Total of 45/90

Zoe Cramond & Aric Yegudkin dances their Samba Instant Dance. They come out and dance. They go to the judges and Todd says that it was great. Josh says that he was watching her bum. Helen says that they handled it brilliantly and says that it was great. They get their scores: Todd with a 9, Helen with a 9 and Josh with a 9. Total score of 54/30 with a Grand Total of 83/60

Danielle Spencer & Damian Whitewood dances their Rumba Instant Dance. They come out and dance. They go to the judges and Helen says that they made it work and says that she needed to have more foot pressure, but it was good. Todd says that the setting was perfect and says that it was good. Josh says that was perfect. They get their scores: Todd with a 10, Helen with a 9 and Josh with a 9. Total score of 56/60 with a Grand Total of 84/90

Brendan Fevola & Jessica Raffa are up last before the results. They come out with their Paso Doble Instant Dance. They dance. They go to the judges and Josh cheers for him and says that it was good. Helen says that he had the game face on and says that it was weird, but good. Todd says that the cape waving was strange and says that the entire dance was alright. They get their scores: Todd with a 7, Helen with a 7 and Josh with a 8. Total score of 44/60 with a Grand Total of 68/90.

The results are in and the 3 couples through to the Semi-Final are: Zoe Cramond & Aric Yegudkin, Johnny Ruffo & Luda Kroitor and Brendan Fevola & Jessica Raffa.

This leaves Brian & Melanie and Daniele & Damian. They come down and the couple leaving the competition is Brian Mannix & Melanie Hooper. Brian jokes and says that he and Mel are withdrawing from the competition. He thanks his wife for allowing him to come on the show and fondle Melanie.
