Season 11, Episode 6 - Recap
Results are up and one couple is going to be eliminated. Audrina Patridge and Tony, Kyle Massey and Lacey, Rick Fox and Cheryl, Margaret Chou and Louis, Brandy and Maks, Bristol Pailin and Mark, Kurt Warner and Anna, Florence Henderson and Corky, The Situation and Karina, and Jennifer Grey and Derek are in danger of going home tonight. The dance that they want to see again is The Situation and Karina with their Foxtrot. The musical guests are Neo and Michael Bolton.
The eliminations begin and with Audrina & Tony, Kyle & Lacy and Kurt & Anna. However they show the clips of Brandy & Maks, Jennifer & Derek, and Rick & Cheryl. The first couple safe is Audrina & Tony. The next couple safe is Kurt & Anna. Kyle & Lacy are in jeopardy.
Up to show his musical talent is Neo. He sings his new single “One in a Million”, he sings and shows that he is the right person for the praise that he gets. He sings great and ends with a high note of his singing abilities.
Donny Osmond goes on the streets of Las Vegas to find out who the best is on Dancing with the Stars. He goes to people on the streets and they tell of their favorites. Back in the eliminations, it is Rick & Cheryl, Brandy & Maks, and Jennifer & Derek who are up for elimination and once again they mix up the videos. This time it is Audrina & Tony, Kyle and Lacy, and Kurt & Anna. The first couple safe is Jennifer & Derek. The next one in jeopardy is Rick & Cheryl, but they celebrate because they are confused. Brandy & Maks are safe and they can celebrate.
Brooke talks with Rick and Kyle and talk about the sexiness of their Mark and Val compete on the stage and they are "facing off" to see who the best is. They come out with Val on the violin and Mark on the guitar. They play great and the dancers dance across the stage.
Next on the stage is so far 4 couples are free from eliminations and Michael Bolton sings “Hallelujah”. He showcases his talent despite the last minute request to perform after Susan Boyles canceled due to a hurt throat. After the performance, Tom talks to him and tells that it is a triumphant return.
Brooke talks with Florence, Margaret, The Situation, and Bristol about the fact that they all were in the bottom of the judges’ vote and they all tell that they are going to improve in the weeks coming. They all enter the stage for the results and the next couple safe in the competition is The Situation & Karina. The next in jeopardy is Bristol & Mark. The next couple returning is Florence & Corky. This puts Margaret & Louis in jeopardy.
They show the clip of the emotions of the celebrities during the dancing and they talk about the fact that it is fun to want to learn a new dance and they get all frustrated. The adrenaline pumps and there is an over sense of calm, anxiety, and stress. The fear of wondering if they are going to go home or staying in is the worst. The couples go to the stage and the next couple safe is Kyle & Lacy. After the break, the next couple safe is Rick & Cheryl.
This leaves Bristol & Mark and Margaret & Louis for the elimination vote. The couple leaving the show is Margaret & Louis. Brooke talks to Margaret and tells that she did an amazing job and Tom tells that she was good out on the dance floor and Margaret gets emotional that she can also dance as well as be a comedian. They dance out the night and next Monday they are going acoustic.
