With Margaret Chou and Louis out of the competion, only Audrina Patridge and Tony, Kyle Massey and Lacey, Rick Fox and Cheryl, Brandy and Maks, Bristol Pailin and Mark, Kurt Warner and Anna, Florence Henderson and Corky, The Situation and Karina, and Jennifer Grey and Derek are left in the competition. Tonight is acoustic night and the dancers are going to be scored on performance and technique. The stage has been transformed to a round stage and it is raised. This is out of everyone’s comfort zone. The pros show off the Rumba and execute it perfectly.

First up are Kurt Warner and Anna. They get in the dance room and Kurt finds the Rumba a little challenging to dance intimately. They invite Kurt’s wife and Anna’s husband in the dance rehearsal and Kurt gets the seal of approval from the wife. He fells comfortable to dance. After a short break, they get to show their dance and they do a phenomenal job. Len tells that the scoring is for performance and technique. He tells that the technique was good but it wasn’t perfect as for the performance was good. Bruno tells that he still doesn’t like his hands and it is not like throwing a punch. Performance was good, but needed work. Carrie Ann tells that the performance was amazing, but the technique needs a little work. The scores are: Carrie Ann 5, Len 5 and Bruno 5 for the technique with a 15. Carrie Ann with a 7, Len with a 6 and Bruno with a 6 for performance with a 19. Grand total of 34/60.

Next up is Brandy and Maks. They get into the Rumba and they are a little hard with their emotions. Maks takes Brandy to dinner and they try to get into the mood of the Rumba. Bruno tells that it was really good in terms of Permance, but the technique was a little rough. Carrie Ann tells that Brandy did an amazing job with the dance and that she was lost in the eyes. She agrees with Bruno with the technique. Len tells that the technique was a little harsh, but the performance was amazing. The scores are: Carrie Ann with a 7, Len with an 8, and Bruno with a 7 on technique 22. Carrie Ann with a 9, Len with an 8 and Bruno with a 9 for performance with a 26. Grand total of 48/60.

The pros show how the Argentina Tango goes and then the next couple to dance to try the Tango is Rick Fox and Cheryl. At rehearsal Cheryl tells that she went to Argentina and she knows the technique but needs the performance to be important. His height is going to be beneficial for the lifts, but they are afraid that is going to hard. They start the dance and they nail the lifts during the dance. Carrie Ann tells that the show felt one-dimentional. The passion wasn’t there and it was too difficult. Len tells that the lifts were excellent. They started the dance full of intent and it lost the energy but all around it was a good performance. Bruno tells that it was good, but it was difficult for him. The scores are: Carrie Ann with a 6, Len with a 7 and Bruno with a 6 for technique for a 19. Carrie Ann with a 6, Len with a 7 and Bruno with a 7 for performance with a 20. Grand total of 39/60.

Next are Kyle and Lacy with their take on the Rumba. They are ready for everything and Kyle tells that he has the sexy part. At rehearsal, they struggle at first to get the technique right for Kyle and with a small stage, it has to be perfect. They dance and it is a lot better with the footwork. They show that they got the performance part of it. Len tells that his footwork was better but it was too sharp. The performance was perfect. Bruno tells that he always plays it well. He tells that he has a moment of perfectness but then it is harsh. Carrie Ann tells that the detail of the footwork was good and it was a little unbalanced though. The performance was amazing though. The scores are: Carrie Ann with a 6, Len with a 6 and Bruno with a 6 for technique with an 18. Carrie Ann with a 8, Len with a 7 and Bruno with a 7 for technique with a 22. Grand total of 40/60.

Next up are The Situation and Karina. This week they are going to do the Argentine Tango. They start off kind of rough at rehearsal and he tells that he wants to do good with the technical part of the competition. The tango starts with them after the break and they dance and get all the flips that they wanted to do in their rehearsals and but all it wasn’t that good. Bruno did not like it at all and all the mistakes that he did, he couldn’t do it well. Carrie Ann loves the fact that The Situation showed his abs but it is hard to do. Len tells that Karina is doing a good job with him, but it is hard. The scores are: Carrie Ann with a 4, Len with a 4 and Bruno with a 4 for technique with a 12. Carrie Ann with a 6, Len with a 5 and Bruno with a 5 for technique with a 16. Grand total of 28/60. The Situation tells that they have a situation.

Next on the floor is Florence Henderson and Corky. They have the Rumba and they are going to get sexy. Barbara, Florence’s daughter and Corky’s son, Mark come in to mark the appropriate and inappropriate. They get out dancing and they show their sexiness with their dancing. After the dance Carrie Ann tells that she is Mrs. Brady and she proved that it was ronchy and it went a little too far. Len tells that it was much better then he expected. Bruno tells that she went through everything and that technique was off and that he’s seen better. The scores are: Carrie Ann with a 6, Len with a 6 and Bruno with a 5 for technique with a 17. Carrie Ann with a 6, Len with a 6 and Bruno with a 6 for technique with an 18. Grand total of 35/60.

Jennifer Grey and Derek get on stage next and at rehearsal they have the Argentine Tango and they are going to be the back and there is a pinched nerve. However, she feels that her competitive side of the dance takes over and she will do great. They dance and it is superb with no mistakes. Len says that it was good technique and great performance skills. Bruno tells that it is primetime delight in terms of performance, it is amazing. Carrie Ann tells that it was AMAZING! The scores are: Carrie Ann with a 9, Len with a 9 and Bruno with a 9 for technique with a 27. Carrie Ann with a 10, Len with a 9 and Bruno 10 with a for technique with a 29. The first 10 of the season. Grand total of 56/60.

Next are Bristol Palin and Mark. Rumba time for them and this is the hardest week for her and she has an issue with the sexy part of it because she is a 19 year old mom. They get the moves down and they enter the stage with a very sensual dance. They execute their moves the best they can. Bruno tells that techniqally Bristol is not good at and is still waiting for her to sustain it. Carrie Ann tells that she has the beautiful effort, but she wants her to dance with intensity. Len tells that there are distractions and he tells that performance was bad, but the technique was alright. The scores are: Carrie Ann with a 6, Len with a 6 and Bruno with a 6 for technique with a 18. Carrie Ann with a 4, Len with a 5 and Bruno with a 5 for technique with a 14. Grand total of 32/60.

The last couple for the night to dance is Audrina Patridge and Tony. Last week, she took the lead and this week they have the Argentine Tango. During rehearsal, they work on their technique to get the moves down and get the acting down. Tony pushes Audrina and she tells that she can stay on top. Dancing to a fast song, they execute the moves well and they get close to the stage edge. Carrie Ann tells that she enjoyed it, but there needs more energy and dismount of the lift. Performance is growing. Len tells that it was plain and clear, but he did not feel the dance though. Bruno tells that he agrees about the dance lacked the drive. Technically, it was hard for them and it wasn’t sharp. The scores are: Carrie Ann with an 8, Len with an 8 and Bruno with a 8 for technique with a 24. Carrie Ann with an 8, Len with a 7 and Bruno with a 7 for technique with a 22. Grand total of 46/60. The dancers finish strong and the next is going to be to see who is going on to the next round and who is not.
