Season 11, Episode 19 - Recap

Only three couples left Jennifer Grey & Derek, Kyle Massey & Lacey and Bristol Palin & Mark. Each couple is determined to win the Mirror Ball Trophy and they introduce the finalists who are going to prove that they have enough to be able to go all the way with this.

First up for the first round of redemption is Kyle & Lacey. For the redemption dance is the Foxtrot with the 70’s theme. Len comes in and dances with Kyle to get him in where he needs to be in perfect posture and movement. They enter the stage and dance a wonderful dance that at the end, Len tells that he tried to help him and tells that the Foxtrot is a hard and tells that he came back from the last Foxtrot and it was amazing. Bruno tells that he delivers and loved it. Carrie Ann tells that for the first half of the dance, she tells that he could’ve been done better. The scores are: Carrie Ann with a 9, Len with a 9 and Bruno with a 9. Total score of 27/30.

Next up for the redemption dance is Bristol & Mark. The Jive is their dance to improve on and Bruno comes in to get the “wild child” out of her. However, Bristol is not that into it because of her personality. They enter the dance floor and they have a lot of fun and try to prove that they have what it takes. Bruno tells that he got something out of her and she revealed herself and they enjoyed it. Carrie Ann tells that this week, she was brighter, but her toes were not that pointed. Len tells that it was a vast improvement from last week. The Scores are: Carrie Ann with a 9, Len with a 9 and Bruno with a 9. Total score of 27/30

After the break, Jennifer & Derek and it is their Paso Doble you are ready to prove that they are going to be able to do better than last time. During rehearsal Carrie Ann comes in to give them some pointers as to improve their Paso Doble. They enter onstage and they do a dance that is fantastic. At the end of the dance Carrie Ann gives Jennifer a hug and tells her that she saw everything that she taught her. Len gives them a standing ovation. Bruno tells that he doesn't want the night to end because it was so amazing. The scores are: Carrie Ann with a 10, Len with a 10 and Bruno with a 10. Total score of 30/30.

Past competitors talk about the freestyle and how important it is. Talk about how lifts are the most important and that they have to be very different. First up to show that they have what it takes to win the competition is Kyle & Lacey. They talk about their freestyle and Kyle tells that he thrives under pressure. Then the stage and Kyle's personality comes out they have a lot of fun on stage and end on a high note. Len tells that he did an amazing job. Bruno tells that Kyle was in his element and it was extreme entertainment. Carrie Ann dubs him the prince of Dancing with the Stars. The scores are: Carrie Ann with a 10, Len with a 9 and Bruno with a 10 with a total of 29/30. Grand total of 56/60.

The take a short break to introduce the cast of “Skating with the Stars” and they tell that it's going to be full of excitement and entertainment. Next up is Bristol & Mark to show that they have what it takes to be the winner of “Dancing with the Stars”. During rehearsal Bristol feels that she is defeated because of all the people who hate her. She wants to put everything on the dance floor. They enter the stage and they dance to a Tango. Afterward, Bruno tells that she hasn't proved but not quite as everyone else. Carrie Ann tells that she gives Bristol a lot of credit for dancing in a cage. She tells she is very proud. Len tells that it was a disaster and that it was fantastic. The scores are: Carrie Ann with an 8, Len with a 9 and Bruno with an 8. Total score of 25/30. Grand total of 52/60.

Last up for the evening is Jennifer & Derek. With her freestyle they are dancing to show that they have what it takes to win the competition. Dancing to “Do You Love Me” from Dirty Dancing and they are worthy of the championship with the dance. Carrie Ann tells that it was amazing and perfect. Len tells that there had it right to the mirror ball trophy. Bruno tells that it was perfect in every way. The scores are: Carrie Ann with a 10, Len with the 10 and Bruno with a 10 with a total score of 30/30. Grand total of 60/60! Another perfect night! With the celebrities done dancing, now is the moment to see if it was enough to take home the Mirror Ball Trophy. Who will win and who will lose?
