Season 12, Episode 8 - Recap

Results time and Kristie Alley & Maksim, Chris Jericho & Cheryl, Chelsea Kane & Mark, Sugar Ray Leonard & Anna, Ralph Macchio & Karina, Petra Nemcova & Dmitry, Romeo & Chelsie, Hines Ward & Kym, and Kendra Wilkinson & Louis are in danger of getting cut from the competition. They open the night with the orchastra playing the classical version of “Walk this Way” and “The Troupe” show off what they have to offer to the dance floor. Tom and Brooke introduce the night and tell that Jennifer Hudson is performing.

Chelsea & Mark, Hines & Kym and Ralph & Karina come down for their results and the first couple safe is Ralph & Karina. Hines & Kym are also safe. This means Chelsea & Mark are in jeopardy. Len says that Chelsea that she was the best dancer and he is shocked. The judges say that Chelsea and Mark’s dance was the best and they see it again. Afterward, they show a clip of Len acting light Lieutenant Len and talks about the different things that the dancers are going to have to go through.

Jennifer Hudson comes out and sings from her new album “I Remember Me”. It is accompanied with dancers and it is great.

Chris & Cheryl, Romeo & Chelsie, and Petra & Dmirtry are on the chopping block now and they talk to Brooke a little bit about their performances. They come down and the next couple safe is Chris & Cheryl. Also safe to dance next week are Romeo & Chelsie. Petra & Dmitry are in jeopardy. The pros talks about how they are having a fun time trying to get new choreography and talk about how they have to get their inspiration to make them new. They all have their own methods and they have to find a ways to involve the audience.

Macy’s Stars of Dance come out and show a dance to Swan Lake and have their own “Black Swan” tribute and show how it really is in ballet. It is flawless as it should be and really entertaining.

Jennifer Hudson sings again on stage with the pros adding the cheorography to her song. It is great as any Oscar award winning performer should do. This time she sing “Feeling Good” and it is entertaining.

Kristie & Maksim, Sugar Ray & Anna and Kendra & Louis are up for elimination and the couple safe to dance another week is Kristie & Maksim. Next couple safe is Kendra & Louis. This leaves Sugar Ray & Anna still in jeopardy.

Sugar Ray & Anna, Chelsea & Mark and Petra & Dmitry come out for their final results and Petra & Dmitry are sent back to safety. This leaves Sugar Ray & Anna and Chelsea & Mark. The couple with the lowest amount of votes and therefore leaving the competition is Sugar Ray Leonard & Anna. They are all smiles despite the news and he says that it is life and he put up a great fight and it is great. Len says that Sugar Ray is the heart of the show and Sugar Ray tells that he had fun. They dance to the credits and next week is American Week!
