Meet the Cast - Recap

The “Meet the Stars” special kicks off with Tom showing the current leader board. Chynna & Tony with 22, J.R. & Karina with 22, Hope & Maks with 21, Ricki & Derek with 20, Kristin & Mark with 19, David & Kym with 18, Carson & Anna with 17, Chaz & Lacey with 17, Rob & Cheryl with 16, Nancy & Tristan with 16, Elisabetta & Val with 15 and Metta (formerly Ron Artest) & Peta with 14. They show a clip of how the family and friends of the stars felt about the performances.

Metta & Peta, Rob & Cheryl and Chaz & Lacey come down and Metta & Peta go down to talk to Tom and they review their night. Tom jokes with Ron’s name change to Metta World Peace and they review what the judges said. Chaz and Lacey go down and they review their dance. Chaz says that it is nerve racking to be in the competition and they show a clip of how Chaz is scared of Cheryl Burke. Rob & Cheryl come down to talk to Tom and they review their dance. Rob says that he was happy out there and never thought that he was going to dance. They show extra footage of rehearsals and he is not as enthusiastic of dancing.

Elizebetta & Val, David & Kym and Carson & Anna come down to talk with Tom and Elizabetta & Val come down and they review the dance. She says that she felt comfortable about the dance. They show a clip of Val dislocating Elizabetta’s shoulder and she says that she has a condition that she had since she was born. David & Kym come down and they review their dance. They show a clip of David over dressing from his closet including a superhero costume. Carson & Anna talk to Tom and Carson is his own flamboyant attitude. They show a clip of Carson going through Maksim’s wardrobe. They don’t show a review of Carson’s dance because they have them do their dance again.

Hope & Maksim, Kristin & Mark, J.R. & Karina come to the stage to talk and Hope & Maks come down first to talk to Tom. They review the dance and Carson signals Maksim to call him. They show a clip of Hope teasing Maks on his ego by saying that he is more girly then any guy she has met. Kristin & Mark come down to talk to Tom and they review the dance. Kristin says that her biggest fear was dancing, but she liked it. Carrie Ann says that Kristin needs to work on her nerves. J.R. & Karina come down and they review the dance. They show a clip of how J.R. joked about how he lost his ear after waking up from his coma. He says that the humor comes from his mother and says that they are there for a reason.

They show a clip of what the pros think about the changes on the stage and how they raised the stage. They all say that it is great. Last up, Chynna & Tony, Nancy & Tristan and Ricki & Derek come to the stage. Chynna & Tony come down and show the review the dance. Tony says that every time that she learned the dance, she remembered it the next day. Nancy & Tristan come down and they review the dance. Tom points out that she avoided eye contact. They show a clip of Tristan complimenting her and she says that he sounds like a Leprechaun. Ricki & Derek come down to talk to Tom and she tells that she had a fun time. They review the dance and she tells that this reminds her of summer camp and that she is regressing to childhood. Derek says that it feels great to be back.

The episode ends with Tom going to the judges and Len saying that they are going to see week by week the dancers coming out and they are going to come out. Bruno says that they are going to have fun getting to know the dancers.
