With Elizabeta and Val gone from the competition, Rob Kardashian & Cheryl, Kristin Cavallari & Mark, Chynna Phillips & Tony, Nancy Grace & Tristan, David Arquette & Kym, Hope Solo & Maksim, Carson Kressley & Anna, J.R. Martinez & Karina, Ricki Lake & Derek, and Chaz Bono & Lacy are up to show that they have what it takes to make it to the end. Tonight the stars are going to tell a story from the most memorable time of their life.

Up first are Rob & Cheryl. They get in rehearsal and Rob says that his most memorable day was when his father passed away. He says that he wants to make this dance. Dancing the Foxtrot, they come out and they do a good job. They go to the judges and Len says that he had good posture and footwork and says that he did well. Bruno says that he was really good and there was a beautiful dance. Carrie Ann says that she sees progress and says that it was great. They get their scores: Carrie Ann with an 8, Len with an 8 and Bruno with an 8. Total score of 24/30.

Chynna & Tony are next. They get in rehearsal and she picks the time when “Hold On” was released. She says that it was when she stopped drinking and Billy Baldwin and her met. They practice and she wants to get this right and she has an emotional time. Dancing the Rumba, they come out and they do an amazing job. They go to the judges and Bruno says that he knew that she could do it and says that the body shapes were expressive and it was great. Carrie Ann says that she gave more and says that she was connected to the music. Len says that she is going to be there for weeks and weeks. They get their scores: Carrie Ann with an 8, Len with a 9 and Bruno with a 9. Total score of 26/30. The first 9’s of the season.

Next up is Chaz & Lacey. They get in rehearsal and Chaz says that his memorable moment in his life is now. He picks a Sonny & Cher song “Laugh at Me” and he is learning the dance. Lacey says that Chaz gets it, but then forgets it. Dancing the Rumba, they come out and
Carrie Ann says she is impressed by his courage. However, it wasn’t his best performance and says that he is not focused. Len says that was the best dance he saw him do and says that he comes back each week and gives it his all. Bruno says that there is an enduring quality with him and says that it was a difficult dance. They get their scores: Carrie Ann with a 6, Len with a 6 and Bruno with a 6. Total score of 18/30.

Kristin & Mark are next. They get in rehearsal and Kristin says that her memorable moment in her life was when she moved up to Los Angeles and had to make the choice if she was going to school or go to television. She says that she is dreading the dance and she says that she is going to bring out her “Inner Beyonce”. Dancing the Samba, they come out and they do a good job. They go to the judges and Len says that it wasn’t his cup of tea, but says that 80% of the dance was fabulous. Bruno says that it was great and says that she is going right. Carrie Ann says that she did pretty good and says that she is pushing herself. They get their scores: Carrie Ann with an 8, Len with an 8 and Bruno with an 8. Total score of 24/30.

Next up is Carson & Anna. They get in rehearsal and Carson says that his memorable moment was when Queer Eye for a Strait Guy came on and he talks about how he grew up gay and says that the show was good because he was proud. Dancing the Tango, they come out and they have a fun time as always and do a fantastic job. They go to the judges and Bruno says that it was insanely brilliant. Carrie Ann says that she loves him because they brought all of it together and with technique. Len says that he puts the boy in flamboyant and says that the attitude was great and he enjoyed it very much. They get their scores: Carrie Ann with an 8, Len with a 7 and Bruno with an 8. Total score of 23/30.

J.R. & Karina are next. They get in rehearsal and his most memorable year was when he was injured in Iraq. He says that he was depressed and it didn’t make sense to him. He shares the emotional story of when he chose to fight. He says that the dance is a tribute to all the men and women who didn’t make it home. Dancing the Rumba, they come out and they do a good job. They go to the judges and it is really emotional. Carrie Ann cries and says that tonight he did an extraordinary thing and says that it was the most profound. Len says that he dances to a standard that is unexpected. He says that it could have been a little bit more musical, but says that he loved it. Bruno says that he dances from his heart and says that he did a great job with it. They get their scores: Carrie Ann with a 9, Len with a 8 and Bruno with a 9. Total score of 26/30.

Next up is Nancy & Tristan. The memory of hers was when she was married and the first lullaby that she sang to the twins. She gets her kids to join her in rehearsals and they get into learning the dance. Dancing the Waltz, they come out and they do a good job. They go to the judges and Len says that he liked the no messing about and says that she needs to use the stretch. Bruno says that it was soft and warming, but she needs to link the movements. Carrie Ann says that it felt like a live action lullaby and she did a great job. They get their scores: Carrie Ann with a 7, Len with a 7 and Bruno with a 7. Total score of 21/30.

Ricki & Derek are next. They get into rehearsal and Ricki talks about her divorce and says that it is the most memorable time when she met Christian. She says that she was closed off and the dance reflects the first few months with Christian and says that she wants to inspire others. Dancing the Rumba, they come out and do a great job. They go to the judges and Bruno says that every step was great and that it was a great story. Carrie Ann says that she is on fire and says that it was great and it was fantastic. Len says that it was a great routine and they did a great job. They get their scores: Carrie Ann with a 9, Len with a 9 and Bruno with a 9. Total score of 27/30. The Best score of the night!

Next is Hope & Maks. They get in rehearsal and she tells that the World Cup 2011 was her best moment and how she was so close to winning it all. They get into the dance and Maks gives her criticism and Hope says that she is going to do it great. Dancing the Cha-Cha-Cha, they come out and Hope shows her seductive side. They do well. They go to the judges and Carrie Ann says that she is a strong dancer, but her walk is not the best. She says that she liked the routine. Len says that it was a bit provocative, but loved it and calls it the best dance of hers. Bruno says that the sexy minx is out of the cage. They get their scores: Carrie Ann with an 8, Len with an 8 and Bruno with an 8. Total score of 24/30.

Last up for the night is David & Kym. The most memorable time in David’s life was when he dealt with his problems and says that his daughter is magnificent and they get down to learning the dance perfect. He says that he is going to do the dance of love and light up the dance floor. Dancing the Rumba, they come out and do a good job. They go to the judges and Len says that it was a mix of emotion and says that he is proud of him. Bruno says that he brought everything to the table and it was great to watch. Carrie Ann says that it was a great comeback and says that it was something magical. They get their scores: Carrie Ann with an 8, Len with an 8 and Bruno with an 8. Total score of 24/30. The dances are over and now it is up to America as to who stays and who goes.
