Analysis
One of the top episodes of Season One that features veteran heavy Dan Duryea as Simon Perigore, a renegade scalphunter who ranks as the nastiest mother ever faced by Daniel Boone and company in the series. Veteran character actors Jack Elam, Jacques Aubuchon, and Robert J. Wilke all lend fine support as secondary baddies as does Duryea's real life son, Peter, who also plays his son in the episode.
